Yeah. The pics looks rather dull and uncoloured.

In this sense, I would say the quality from the P990i is better a bit. tongue.gif

Ask a bit bout this phone ma.. coz i have interest also.. hehe..

@KTCY.. The picture quality not bad lor.. Still average pictures made by 3MP phones. But i dun put high expectations on the PDA as well..
*
Yeah. PDA is more to function on it's phone then camera function. smile.gif

after what you said, i reviewed the pictures again, and yes, most definitely is those what you said. xD laugh.gif

but it is suprising how the sensor can choke on colouration in the pic of the leaves under an intense sunlight where the K800i (even K750i) would not have such a problem. i've experience the same problem on my N90 before too, though.

My P990i's camera can compare with the K750i what. tongue.gif
Heck, the AF-lock is much faster than K750i and K800i too. laugh.gif

It's just a matter of what sensor and module they use for the camera. I'm still not convinced that the P1i's camera quality is bad until I've seen some proper pictures taken with it.

would really love to have this phone but reviews stated that QWERTY keypad is a huge letdown. sad.gif

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. nvm then, W960i here i come! tongue.gif
*
I guess it must be because two alphabets are sharing on a single keypad, it's not a full QWERTY keyboard like the P990i though so that's why it's not that user friendly if you're not used to the design. I haven't tried my hands on a P1i yet so I have no comments on the keyboard design yet.

QUOTE(shockk @ Jul 30 2007, 04:13 PM)
should be the same.

even for M600i's reviews, a lot of them say the keyboard sux somewhat. tongue.gif

but actually i think it is more ergonomic to use, faster and better than P990i's proper QWERTY k/b which is too small really.  rclxub.gif
*
Yeah, the P990i's QWERTY keyboard is a little small so most of the time, I ended up using the touchscreen keyboard which is faster for me. I'll do the same I guess if P1i's keyboard is not user friendly.

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Jul 30 2007, 05:00 PM)
picture quality looks average

like the photographer said, pics are having a lot of noise

personally feel tat the colors are not saturated
*
I guess the camera sensor is of lower quality here. If it can select ISO settings manually, I believe the picture quality will be greatly improved but comparing the pictures taken by P1i with my P990i, it looks slightly better to be honest in terms of the colour and sharpness.

Will have to see later if the W960i has good UI for thumb/single-hand usage. Otherwise, having that touch-scroll thing (yes just like on the HTC Touch only tongue.gif) would be kinda pointless and just a novelty. smile.gif
