Since the M600 came out with the slim form factor. It's nice for them to suddenly put a 3.2 MP cam with AF. I thought they would only put 2 MP only.

That's really confuse the buyer that don't really know the pricing or know about this phone.

Maybe the RM 3,999 P1i for sale is a prototype which is not supposed to be for sale.

u can compare both now. sonyericsson develop world just released the P1i white paper which u can use it to make a better comparision.

and by the way... P1i is not a successor for M600i. its the successor of P-series... replacement for M600i which called M610i was just approved by FCC and annoucement will make soon..

You're right about that, luckily, I've sold my P990i, the price has dropped to RM1.1K (Renee's latest promotion), otherwise I would have lost more than RM700 plus within 5 months, I bought mine early this year. Phew .......... I managed to sell it at RM1.4K to my friend. I guess if I wait later, I'll loose even more money, the second hand value for P990i is poor, reminded me of my cousin's Tiara.

The price is around RM3K, it will be launched in Europe first and based on the conversion rate, that's around RM3K, I don't find that figure surprising as the P990i also sold around that price when it was first launched. Not sure the extra internal ram will improve the performance, I was hoping for a faster processor instead but from the specs, it should have a NVIDIA 3D accelerated chip, not sure whether that is confirmed or just a rumour. Guess we have to wait for a few months more. If it's better than P990i performance wise, I'll definitely get it but will of course, wait for the price to fall first. I wouldn't want to be the first to own it, I've learnt my lesson well, it's not wise to be the first to buy it.
