picture quality doesnt seems impressive though.

Not much suprise as just an upgrade m600. I really wondering if the design of that qwerty keyboard is good to use or not, especially those with large fingers like me

yes, but SE throw in 3.2MP camera & WiFi, bigger ram size. a big but not huge step from P990.

Judging from past SE touch screen based phones, it can last quite a long time, unless you drop it or water somehow got into your phone.

Anyway how much you guys think this phone will cost? I would say between RM2k to RM2.5k.

Well the video recording capability still kinda crap. The larger ram capacity is indeed better. Wifi p990 also got la and totally no improvement on the P1 as still running on 11b standard (from gsmarena). As for camera, I still had my n95 so no big deal to me. The major thing I concern more is the qwerty keyboard, is it easy to use or not. M600 users opinion will be good to judge it since the design is same

I really think this is an unnecessary introduction from Sony Ericsson.

The only difference with this and P990i is the RAM and camera.

Heck, I even think that P990i is better well equipped than this (larger screen, full QWERTY keyboard, HSCSD etc.)

so now itys the official p1.. hmm.. the back kind nice wor now see.. 3.2mp with AF.. tats nice..

I believe it is a step ahead of P990i if it is less sluggish and it doesn't have any stability issues. Now the million dollar question is, the Wi-Fi is b or g, P990i's Wi-Fi is using b standard though.

finally confirms its name ....next is the specs....the killer is the waiting game
