not sure what u mean, i suppose u mean hk/taiwan cda doesn't support english? I flashed mine to HK cda, with english interface. It doesn't support "HAN YU PIN YIN", however, by using stylus, I'm surprised it recognised the chinese input better than my previous Singapore cda.

u sure?? then i want try... so far i only know singapore is the best suitable for malaysian user

i dun hv any complain so far. but make sure u backup first before u change your cda. and again, it doesn't support HAN YU PIN YIN.

I believe original thorus firmware is same as singapore ... my MP3 list have a lot of chinese word naming.

yeah, the original works fine. But sadly the firmware is out of date, apparently taiwan/hk have updated theirs 3 weeks ago, yet the singapore cda still hasn't. That's y people change, to gw1 especially which is very fast.

hi, wanna ask a noob question

se p1 supports both symbian os 9.1 and uiq 3.1 software

so wats the difference between both os? one is touch screen based and the other is not?

ya.. garmin 10x so expensive... normal bt gps only cost 200-300..... but the good thing is the software gmxt is free... map can get free from malsing... so u just need to pay 1 time... but 700 still expensive for me...

P1i is running on Symbian OS v9.1 UIQ 3.1.

UIQ 3.1 is not an OS, its a variant of the Symbian OS.

And the latest seems to be v9.1, and it can be either S60 or UIQ 3.1.
