S60 apps are meant for S60 phones.

UIQ 3 apps are meant for UIQ 3 phones.

They're not compatible with each other.

Hi everyone there, remember the problem of date format, when restart the phone, the date will revert back to yyyy/mm/dd irrespect of how you change it; apparently the problem is fixed when I reinstall the firmware through SEUS.

FYI I'm still using R6E30 firmware

about the charging
recently i did a testing

i notice if u charge using the usb cable(without power line) even you reach 100% but the phone discharging rate is much higher, it only last me 1 day

but if i use power line to charge, i can use the phone for 3 days. Anyone experience this?

Interesting. I didn't know usb last 1 day.

My battery can last me 3 days if I minismie the usage to standby most of the time. Plus 5 calls a day, less than 10 sms aday, 1 min WiFi a day,
exploring phone off and on as less as i could.

Normal usage only 2 days. Daily usage include 5 min Wi Fi, 5 - 10 calls, 5 min of games, exploring the phone off and on,
15 - 20 sms, occasionally using camera & mms. ( 3 times <)

I find the battery is average, not impressive. Not happy about it.
Really hope can last 3 days at least or above.

The phone is nice, compared to the smartphone i used before like N70 & 73, I think it is the best. Very stable, fast responce. battery life nothing less than the 2 models, just that I expect too much, longer battery life. lol.

For the price at around 1200 - 1500 Ap set now, it is the best deal in the market.

aLaStIaR: you can ask them what is the package 1st before the price. den test the phone and then only nego super kaw! find the best deal within that place.

This P1i do have some flaw, but all other phones are quite similar to have its own weakness. i used for like 2 weeks and i find it quite nice. all you ever need in daily usage is available in the phone itself. And for me, its worth the price.

Note, am using GSM network only, never on 3G smile.gif
for digi user, u can switch ur network to GSM only instead of GSM and 3G

You guys are lucky. I made a lot of calls everyday during working hours and my batt can barely last me till past 8pm.

Luckily I have an in-car charger. smile.gif

thanks for the feedback

but on gsmarena, it says the OS support for p1 is Symbian OS v9.1, UIQ 3.0

doesnt this mean if i have apps for symbian osv9.1, it will work too?

i tot uiq apps are meant to make use of the touch screen, but normal ones running on symbian os 9.1 will work (maybe without the ability to fully utilize the touch screen)?
