Hi Bezza owner,

Anybody having problem with their car running on highway? I try to drive the car from KL to JB (usually city drive cant feel it because rarely run above 90km) but the car tends to sway left or right when going above 100km. Is this normal or tyre balancing issues?

If his normal, how do we mitigate this? Fitted safety bar help?
*
Never had that issue before when driving on highway above 120km/h , better check with service centre

So far mine does not have this problem. Aside from wind noise, stable at highway at 140-150kmh.

I have the advance model. The car is three weeks old. But the sway really dangerous even on the straight stretch of road the car suddenly sway either left or right.Do they do balancing and tyre alignment from factory or do we need to do our self?

That was quite fast you are driving. You cant feel the sudden sway? Quite tiring driving highway for the long haul.

I don't experience the sway. Best to sent your car back to SC, since your car is still new. If they don't bring it to the mechanic to adjust and check. I just had my car for a week plus and wanted to test it on the highway. I don't usually drive that fast. tongue.gif

Strong winds perhaps?
I remember at certain stretches there's strong winds right?

And yes it gets tiring to always correct the car's attitude..

i havent driven the bezza long distance yet, but the short stint hyways in kl/pj/klia didnt seem to be a problem...

had a chat with a tyre alignment sifu who does his job the manual way (he does lots of jobs for race cars) and he said there are ways to counter the 'tracking of the car's attitude but he's also concern about the cars warranty of the power steering that might be an issue...

anyone encounter that?
i haven reached the 2nd service,
question is whether SC checks the alignment or under-carriage of the car?

I also seldom drive that fast but sometimes need to drive to other states which is a bummer if cant use the car for long cruise.

That was what i worry about if it was miss align, cant feel it if cruising at 90km/h but when to overtake other car quite dangerous as need to speed up above 100km/h . Bezza is different from what i use to drive (before this persona). If im not wrong it use electronic power steering instead the hydraulic power steering which give little feedback.

No..
It's nothing to do with power steering but more to do with the weight and the tall nature of the car..
Acts like a sail..

Have to pay more attention when driving lor..

Just reduce your tyre pressure to around 200-230kpa then the swaying should reduce. If you read the earlier threads everyone complained about the floating effect.. its the same with the swaying.. car too light, tyre width too small.. can overcome by changing wider tyres or adding strut bars.. but in my experience, after driving it for few days in high speed, yoy will get used to it and it should not be bothering you anymore.

Hi guys,
May i know how you guys check the battery water? From the manual, it mentions can see from the front, but i dun seems able to see the level, do we have to open the cap each of them to find out the level? Sorry, last time i always use maintenance free battery.

Yeah, I got to try my cousin bezza car. He change to a wider wheel and adding strut do really help. 140km/h not so shaking like mine. Is not like I going long distance everyday. thank for the tips to lower the tyre pressure.

I do ask the car dealer and they said it will not void the warranty. The bezza strut bar front engine bay is an add on same on the undercarriage for behind wheel is an add on. No change to the original structure.

Personally I don't think it should void any warranty as it is a plug and play basis.. There are many cars that added bars as long as it's not modified to fit then i think i won't void the warranty.

My cousin's myvi was modified heavily, level 2 strut bars, sound system, changed drilled brake rotors, brembo brake calipers, wide tyres with wheel spacers, rolled tyre fender, lowered with adjustable springs and etc.. One day his gearbox was giving problem and perodua still fixed it without saying anything..

So I will just say depends on your luck and how good is the perodua service center people..

Anyway, I drive regularly 170+km/h.. trust me with the speed you are driving, the car is fine.. will take time to get used to it..

By the way, premium x tyres are not really good on wet road. Waiting for it to wear down and change to wider tyres.

Yeah, I got the same feeling too when first time driving from KL to Melaka. Especially when bigger cars/ lorries passing by and I could feel the car sway to the opposite way. Compared to my old Viva, my arms hurt a lot try to maintain my bezza. Perhaps the EPS is very sensitive compared to hydraulic one.

The next time I drove back to KL, the sway feeling was a bit less. Maybe I am adjusting to the car already.
