I’m using a felt like case for my switch.
Getting a smaller case for the switch lite.

It will work initially.
But there has been opposing articles to whether this is alright in the long run or if there is a remote chance it might brick your switch.

I’m using a usb a to usb c cable from the switch dock to charge my switch lite. And some articles even report doing that might damage my switch haha.

But so far, the only concrete evidence of switch bricking is through third party docks. Not chargers.

Don’t think it’ll work. Since Canadian account and US accounts are quite different.

Buy cartridge/digital and keep.
But I usually rarely ever buy anything in full price.
Usually during a promo or even second hand.

Buying at full price and selling after 2 months = rm100 drop in value.
Buying a rm100-150 game and keeping it = rm100-150 Cost.
Owning it is more important that being the first to play imo.

Digital game Black Friday sales are up.
Games like DBZ fighters Z are only USD15.
I personally got super bomberman for about USD10.

I mean the Nintendo e-shop. Digital copies of the game.
If you’re using a Canadian or us account, you can benefit from the sales.

December 4th.
Can get it over the weekends.

I’m thinking if I should get tales of vesperia for usd25.. hmm.

Of course you can buy it first but not download it.
Unlike PlayStation, you can use local credit card or PayPal too.
If you’re using a US account, just choose the right location for the lowest tax.

I got bomberman for 9.99USD yesterday.
Fighting games like DBZ and naruto is really cheap, but I already own them on a different console.

Got my switch lite 2 weeks ago.
So far it’s alright, no drift etc.
Ever since I got my switch lite, I’ve not touched my OG switch at all. The weight reduction is very noticeable.

Also, I did not have joycon drift issues after using my OG switch for 2 years. But the the small L and R button were not responsive. Which means I could not use that set of joycons in split / 2 player mode.

You have to clarify with them.
If it’s a japan set, this can range to no warranty to 1 year warranty. I believe they would have to send this back to Nintendo for repairs.

Personally, I don’t play games that require very heavy use of the joysticks.
For events like cooking curry in Pokémon (heavy rotation of joysticks), I just use my pro controller.

Using the right case that prevent applying pressure to the joystick would would help from wearing out too quickly as well.

Another factor to think of is, while the switch 2.0 have swappable joycons, those joycons cost 1/2 the price of a switch lite and only 3 months warranty.

I think steam officially supports it.
But I’ve not tried those before.
I am not really a PCMR.

Main reason why I bought my switch lite.
The OG switch isn’t exactly portable and the difficulty in removing joycons every time.

It’s cross play with PS4, PC and XBOX.
Interesting. Might download this FTP game.

Mobile version coming in 2020 according to the website.
But playing on a switch lite is better than playing in a mobile. Touch screens are just not as intuitive sometimes.

There might be plans to port over GBA games over.
And the switch lite is unhackable

For your mum?
Ring fit adventure might be interesting.

Most of my games are digital.
Ease of playing various games without the need to swap cartridge is convenient.

But if you’ve multiple switches... cartridge might be the way to go.
