LOL. I guess cannot. I created a Nintendo account and they ask me to login using the eShop from Switch. rclxub.gif

How often do we have this kind of sale? Is this a monthly thing?

And I will need to create a account using USA region in order to buy those discounted games right?

Always have sales, title will depend. This round have some popular title n dlc on sales (zelda, fire emblem etc). Walmart, target and Amz also got sales.

You can refer dekudeals.com for price history.

that is because the 'digital' game versions are tied to a specific console (not just your Nintendo ID).

the region setting is based on your Nintendo account though - which you can only set 1 at any one time. you may want to search/read about things to note related to 'switching regions'.

can suggest any game to wait until SMT 5 out?

Wanted to buy one now, but guessing its better to wait after MCO to see if there's any drop of price

since the game I'm planning to buy is SMT 5 and DBZ kakarot released later this year

No, Nintendo switch is not region lock. However if your Nintendo account is US and you buy the DLC in digital store, then you won’t be able to play with your AUS code cartridge. That’s what I remember, correct me if I’m wrong.

You cannot collect Gold Point for game card from different region than the region set for your Nintendo Account
But of course, Gold Point can only be collected once per game card and must be claimed within 1 year from the game's release date

For game compatibility with DLC, some will work, some won't work

Unless you frequent or intend to move to Aus, use North American account.

NA is better because you get a lot more sales. You also have official parallel reseller like Walmart, target and amazon.

I just ordered mine from Impulse @ shopee as well on 25 June for RM1299 with 10% coins cashback too. Maxsoft Set
Price is around RM1169 spent.
Paired it together with Ring Fit Adventure for Rm309 as well.

So total paid for RM1578 (applied shopee coins for additional discount)
Feel very bargain with the price on the promotion as 2nd hand switch almost cost similar too

This will be the first nintendo system i bought for myself since Gameboy laugh.gif

I wanted to buy when 12am but forgot to topup my shopee wallet. Once topup is done, the price went back up to RM1399 already. Not even 5 mins. So the RM1299 price maybe for few units only.

Then I waited until about 12.30am the price drop to RM1349.

So pity on that bad timing blush.gif
I prepare my shopee wallet around 1145pm just to make sure it is ready on time.
I have thought that they might limit for few units too and luckily got mine earlier cool2.gif

Yes, switch games do have to set aside as their games cost higher compared to other console.
Some other games in my Wishlist to buy on later date as I have planned Animal Crossing first. laugh.gif

Nintendo games rarely go on sale, if they do go on sale it won't be more than 20-30% off. That's how they maintain the game prices, even physical games cost a lot even after 3-4 years. Unless it's something like Pokemon, or a game developed by 3rd party devs, they do go on sale very often and at deep discounts.

Nintendo first party games rarely goes on sales.
I will suggest try to find 2nd hand games for those.
That how I got the animal crossing first.

For indie games, do keep watch out for deals on Dekudeal
There have a good price comparison you can look out for games price promotions.
