1. Check the serial number to see how old the switch actually is.
Also, unpatchable early version of switch are worth more than even the latest V2 AC switch.

2. As usual, just check the main console. Make sure it can be switched on, run on games and connect to nintendo online (not banned).
Also make sure no scratches on the main screen. It's made of plastic and thus easily scratchable.

3. Check joycons for joycon drift. Check the buttons

4. Disconnect the joycons to ensure it can still be connected to the console. Some might have issues syncing.

5. Check headphone jack and memory card slot.

6. Ensure dock is working. You can't do it easily during COD, but this should be the first thing you check when you get back.

Nothing much you can really check on COD. All based on trust. Buy from someone you know.

1. Depending on the serial number, you can determine when was the switch made. If it’s really old or quite recent. Just google on how to cross check the serial number.

3. Just make sure there isn’t any joycon drift. Switch had a build in function to test the controller buttons. Just google it as well.

5. Plug in a sd card and a headphone to test. Unlikely this will spoil though, so it’s not high priority.

Hi everyone - would like to know if there is a reputable switch service center or repair shop in Malaysia that could fix the wifi chip (broadcom)?

v1 & v2 battery life different. v2 last longer. this is important if u plan to play in handheld mode frequently. if it will be docked most of the time, v1 will do. for new set, 99% of the current stock will be v2 already. v1 u can get as used set only.
price - depends on ur budget
new / used - depends on ur budget
jailbreak? - up to u. do weigh the pros, cons & risk. google it. any jailbreak discussion will not be discuss in this forum.

I just read a lot of posts on that before. Just to be safe, I quitted my family group which I bought from Shopee. sad.gif (im new though)

Now i have no choice but to resort to buying the solo package myself, based on the Nintendo website, its in USD. Is it safe if i purchase e shop card(from shopee again) and reload then purchase through there?

Why not see inside the group in facebook if they opened a family slot? I've heard that they already created 20+ family group before.

Yea I may trust the one who is hosting the family group, but i don't know the rest of the members. They could be using shared digital version games or whatsoever, that will also risk myself into getting banned right? confused.gif unless i know everyone in the family group else I am feeling a bit skepticism bye.gif

Merepek mostly. The one's getting the ban hammer is the people who didn't follow the ToS. Buying cheap games from shared account that is profited by those Shopee seller. Just because you're in a family group doesn't mean you'll get it unless you also violating the ToS.

Typical people, that info some more from Facebook group. Surely they blame family group when the real issue is actually the shared game account they bought from the Shopee seller.

Buy games directly from eShop or physical games.
