Hi all.. I’m a tad unsure if I should share this here.. But figured since there are confirmed Switch owners in here.. Might be worthwhile for someone.. Here’s a quick write-up about a Switch accessory and I also made a video too. For those who prefer such, a tad longer than expected I know.. So bare with me yeah, still learning..
I’m given free rein over my reviews (thoughts are all my own & verifiable) and this time I decided to do a giveaway contest and would love the winner to originate from our forum, given how much support has been shown thus far.. So do check them out and join to win. Only a couple of simple actions to enter. P.S. If it’s wrong to post this here? Let me know as well. Thanks. |

Yes, to change the region of your eshop just change the "Country/region of residence" as per attached in the image. 5. Still can play even if you change region after purchase, it's just that when you buy the game from that region you get gold points and that gold points is not transferable to another region. If you change your region again, the gold points will not be carried over to the new region. Gold points example: If you pay $59.99 for a game on Nintendo eShop, you’ll earn 300 Gold Points. Those points can be redeemed for $3.00 toward your next eligible purchase. |

I'll suggest go to https://eshop-prices.com/ to check which region have the lowest price and then buy from that region by changing your region in your account. Do note on you credit card bank international charges, I'm using Revolut (I'm based in SG now) to get lowest exchange rate and no bank's fee. QUOTE(ahrain @ Jun 21 2020, 04:45 PM) Guy, 1 - 3. you can do both top-up & buy games from either PC or the switch itself. I have been top-up my e-shop & buying games while i'm at work using PC & my switch is at home. This is super convenient because the games will finished downloading once i'm back from work. I'm also buying games for my kids at malaysia while I'm in singapore.I am new in Nintendo Switch, I have few questions need your help as below: 1.How to purchase at eschop? 2.When i try to shop menu using PC, it keep showing Error? 3.The eshop purchase need to be access from the Switch Console? 4.To change the region it is as per the attached image? 5. Let say if I purchase using Brazil region, can i still play it when i change it to US region? Really need help on these.... Thanks ![]() to save you from confusion, just use ONE US account for all of your game purchases. buy eshop credit from shopee (you can get around usd1=rm3.30). because brazil account, you need to use credit card (or other payment method) where the rate is equivalent to the current exchange rate, because not many reseller selling it cheap. let me give you one example: games: 1-2 SWITCH US price: USD49.99 BR price: R$208.99 (equivalent to USD39.35) on a first glance, yeah. buying with Brazil account will save u USD10 for this game. BUT... US account: USD49.99 = RM165.00 (if u buy code from shopee) [usd50 x3.3] BR account: R$208.99 = RM170.30 (exchange rate) so there you go. for this example, buying with US account is cheaper than brazil. save the headache & just use ONE US account. personally, my switch & my 3 kids switch all using US account. anyway, this is just my 2 cent though. happy gaming. If supplier warranty, normally how long it takes to fix compared to maxsoft? My concern if supplier warranty take longer time to fix depends on where the seller get the switch from. previously I'm tempted to get the coral pink for my daughter but all the seller that have coral at that time only supplier warranty. i did ask two seller about the warranty. they said they get it from china. the switch will be post to my address direct from china. any issues, send back to them (in kl) & they will send back to china for warranty claim (u may need to pay some fees if u want fast shipment, by air). then i just wait for maxsoft set. luckily within one week, many reseller restock coral (maxsoft).so my advice is u better clarify with the seller first. maybe some seller can just do in-house repair for a minimal fees (if it's within the warranty period) rather than sending it back to where they source it from. Hi guys.
I have a nintendo switch with a dead battery after not using for few months. I've tried a lot of suggestions from googling (hold power button for 12 secs, charge without joy cons, press and hold vol buttons then press power button, etc) but it's still dead. So I'm planning to send it for repair. Any repair shop to recommend in PJ area? |

I left it at sleep mode for a few months, and when I tried to use it last week it won't turn on. Left in charged for days and it's still the same. |

I'll be sure to avoid doing that, then. I think it's recommended to charge the battery to about 80% before turning it off and putting it in long term storage if not in use. |

this is my first time buying game console after ps3 some 8 years ago. my sister in law will be cod-ing on my behalf, so i need to explain to her what and how to check as well. This post has been edited by Invince_Z: Jun 25 2020, 08:34 PM |
