Calculations vis a vis safety are available on the net, which are different for regulated and unregulated Mods, and for different multi-cell configurations. A quick search should get you there.

As a layman though, the chips in a regulated mod SHOULD keep you safe regardless. It just won't do what it can't.

For unreg mechs though, it's a entirely different ballgame. That said, building coils without exploding your face off is not THAT Hard really, as long as you follow the "rules" (ohms law especially) - considering I spent most of my 5 years of Vaping with a Mech and my face intact.

Man, GearBest keeps on saying they can't see the pictures I attached of the wrong VTCs.

Heck, in the end, maybe I'll send them over for anybody here who can test it. 3 VTC5s and 1 VTC4.

I dunno what I can do with this combo. I don't have a single batt mod. The only triple I have is an old RX200 which is..falling apart.

I got a DNA 166 which is why I went to buy some batt on GB. Didn't think it'd spiral out of control like this.

Sad to hear bro. Why not try claiming with PayPal? Or doing a Charge Back if you didn't buy with PayPal?

2. They can even twist the story, said they trust me that why don't even ask me to mail back, wtf is this ? is they don't even know when they can do the claim or exchange it ......

Second best question after "boss which battery best for gaping"

If you gave back, go get it back again la. Pak Google is your best teacher.

Ohm's law is easy, secondary school stuff. Lucky vaping don't involve Maxwell's Law or Thermodynamics.

If you REALLY wanna go into it... Vaping actually does lol, at least Thermodynamics AND Fluid Dynamics (both Aero and Hydro lol)... else what do you think happens in your RTA/RDTA/RDA?

TBH, AFAIK, there's a whole bunch of factors that is actually in play while you're happily Vaping, including: Wick density/material, coil shape/type/material, juice composition/viscosity/temperature, battery type/condition/temperature, mod chipset/build/material... to name a few anyway.

So yeah, if you wanna REALLY go into it...

But for us normal folk... ehhh coil, wick, juice and suck. If it doesn't work like you want... then REcoil, REwick, REjuice, sneak a prayer to whatever you normally pray to and REsuck jer ler.

If you just want to enjoy your vape then go for modular mods.

Mechanicals are quite in depht, I won't say hard but majority won't have the time or effort.

So make it simple and enjoy the juices.

Dont need for safe vaping. Ohm's law is all it takes for safety.
Of cause there are more to it. But safe vaping is what I meant.

Getting off topic is very common. Electromagnetism, Thermaldynamics and fluid dynamics is not a safety concern in vaping… ohm's law is.

Well at least that much is true, I do agree. Ohm's Law is important to have at least have a faint grasp of. Even if you're rocking a fully regulated Mod that does the thinking for you.

However, though the rest is not a true safety concern, they do deal with how Vaping "works" (or doesn't).

I do have to point out that you kinda missed the last point of my post bro. Coil, wick, juice and suck - while keeping in mind the basic rules/knowledge behind it (ohms law included) - is all you need.

But, at the same time, it doesn't hurt to know more either.

At least IMHO. As always, Your Mileage May Vary.

BTW, getting back to Vaping... has anyone gotten their hands on one of those shiny new DNA75C Mods trickling out? I do see a few units going on Auctions already (Therion 75C and that horrible looking VT75C).

Pray, ha ha ha, that's critical too wink.gif

It's really simple actually, find out the limits of the battery (current amp), apply ohm's law (find safe lowest resistance ohm for unregulated mod, max safe wattage for regulated mod ), work within the limits with any concoction you could imagine.
If the thermodynamics, electromagnetism, fluid dynamic and structural properties failed it only hurt your wallet and satisfaction but not your face. smile.gif

Haha, steeping is not really the issue here and I hear that alot from brewers. If steeping means letting it sit to rest the liquid from particles I understand but they usually take it the wrong way.

Unlike Five Pawns they would use oak barrels to steep their juices. Maybe not all variant but oak wood barrel does give out a scent/note similar to wine barrel or alcoholic beverage for fermentation.

So yea, steeping is an overrated word. I don't feel no difference from weeks of steeping compare to days or hours. There is but not that significant in a sense that there's a huge difference.

I'm in industry deep enough to know some are just pure bullshit to throw of consumers so they can't be copy cats.

Okay too much info. Hehe. 🤣
*
Don't know why I missed this post…

My mistake on bad choice of word regarding steeping. What I meant was to extract coffee flavor by soaking the coffee beans/powder in PG for a long period of time. Heat could speed it up but we all know that will also extract the bitterness and acidity from the bean.
Exactly the same effect with to steeping juice in oak barrel. Also the traditional way to make vanilla flavor extract.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.
I am just a nubis kubis with very itchy backside…
