You can try out resistherm wire nife30. Am using that. 6 wrap spaced coils which should give u 0.4ohm.

Actually, at least for SS360 TC, builds need to be not too far below 0.5 ohms to be effective, due to the fact that SS360 TCR values are pretty shit low.

My 0.4 ohm builds barely make the grade lol, but that's probably my DNA chip filling in the blanks.

SS340 seems to work better though, by 360 is pretty much the de-facto standard nowadays I couldn't be bothered to go buy another roll of SS. Plus 340 rusts big time due to the complete lack of Nickel.

Not sure if NiFe has better TCR values though, but it shouldn't be any worse than 360.

SonnyCooL Was a hardcore user of my poor Pico right up to somewhere around March this year (a full year from purchase), when the firing button died of liquid ingress (probably from the front fascia and the 510).

So yeah, for what it's worth it's pretty okay mod. Just watch what you screw into it as it uses pretty much the same shitty leaky Joyetech 510 found on every Wismec/JT/Eleaf mod ever (except the Pred, which is EVEN WORSE).

Otherwise it worked fine for me for that entire year it was alive.

i still have some tank but prefer occ now, so most of the i use subtank mini with TC OCC .....

Personally I don't use OCC, but from what I've seen, heard and tested, so far one of the better OCC tanks out there is the Tobeco Supertank. OCCs for it are a bit hard to find outside Shopee, but so far it seems worth the hunt.

Not sure if there's TC OCCs for it though.

The Melo3, while serviceable, ain't really amongst the best out there IMHO. But at least I know there's TC OCCs (Ni/Ti/SS) for it available.

By 360 did you meant *SS316 or SS316L?
SS340 did you meant *SS430 or SS304?

I also read that ss coil in TC works better with higher coil resistance due to not very high TCR and I sort of understand the science.
the question is will coil resistance of 1ohm better than 0.5ohm and the TC will make them produce the same cloud and flavor at the same wattage setting?

Lol. Was talking about SS316 and 430 (the no nickel one) respectively. Actually typed that while watching a 360 cam kickstarter at 3am so I probably mixed A LOT of things up lol. Really sorry for that.

As for the question, a 0.5 ohm or a 1ohm coil should be pretty much nearly the same functionally (as we run adjustable wattage Mods kannnn), though it ultimately depends on the mod/chipset.

On most Mods the 1ohm coil should TC better (due to 316's shit TCR, higher ohmage is better). On DNA75 Mods (specifically) however, the 0.5ohm coil should, in theory, work better (as a DNA75 mod has a voltage limit PULAK so it doesn't really work well with higher ohm coils).

As for firing characteristics, the lower ohmage coil should heat up faster then the higher ohmage one. Think of it as a thin frying pan/kuali/wok/pot and a thick one, with all the details that brings along.

what about the heat capacity (mj/K) as showed in steam engine? I don't quite understand that.. an added wrap might have turned from yellow to red.. ex on SS316L 26awg.. with 3.0mm diameter 0.45 ohm heat capacity in yellow, while 0.5 in red.. what does it mean actually?
