Missing a dripper. Get a rda. Or an rdta. Throw in a low build,  not too low just maybe 0.14-0.2. Use a good batt and put it on ur mech. Drip Taste of Gods or Holy grail. Try it and see. Illusions are great on drippers, as recommended by the guys directly frm the company when they came down quite sometime ago. Imo certain juices, especially higher vg ones taste better on drippers.

While that is a valid point, like every other hobby, there might be lessons to be gained from advancing a step at a time. Especially with something as complicated as Vaping.

The journey is probably just as (or maybe even more) important as the end result, simply as a Vaper needs the experience gained to define the kind of Vaper he is anyway. I mean, if everyone vapes the same, we should all be walking around with Provaris and Kayfuns in hand by now.

That said, I don't condone starting out blindly either - at least mod wise.

Personally I say get a Joyetech-chipped mod... ANY of them, they perform about the same both in TC and Wattage (that is, decently) and use the hell out of that to start with.

If your JT mod grows insufficient, and you want more "tinkering"/customization (and installing ArticWolf isn't scratching your itch any more)... get a mass market (not Boutique yer) DNA device.

If you still need to go up, then MAYBE get a Dicodes/Procyon/Whatever Boutique Stabwood DNA that Catches Your Fancy... but at this point you should already understand that past a mass market DNA device, you mostly only get diminishing returns, performance wise.

As for the costs incurred doing things this way, well, you don't expect to learn more and advance as a Vaper for free, don't you? Think of it as tuition costs, which shouldn't be CRAZY MAHALZ anyway if you keep yourself rational and only get stuff you really need along the way.

It'll be less cheap than a one shot buy of the best out there, but if you're gonna vape for any long amount of time, the "best" is not really gonna stay on top for that long either and it's gonna be outclassed by something or another within a year or two anyway.

So yeah.

However, YMMV. Horses for courses people, my opinion is of course just that and doesn't necessarily apply to all lol.

Yihi's place is somewhere next to the DNAs... besides, if you've vaped long enough to want a DNA, you will of course be aware of the existence of Yihi chips already, ammarite?

Though personally I prefer DNA's "keep it simple on the mod and do the crazy stuff on your PC" vs Yihi's (and to a lesser extent, Dicode's) "lets just put EVERYTHING in here" approach myself.

kayent Orrrrr you can just drip on TC and use Temp Protect to keep you aware of your wicks drying up. It doesn't work 100% (you still get a whiff of Satan's underbrush) but at least TC Temp Protect will ensure that you won't burn straight through a dry wick in a momentary lapse of focus.

Lol. That's pretty much dependant on the juice and setup you have bro. My wicks last for few weeks on average and a month if I get lucky lol.

Keeping in mind that SS is Iron/Carbon/Nickel/Chromium (or sumthang liek dat) and its actually immersed in e-liquid... you can probably expect the interactions to be FAR more complex then the simple Iron and humid air example above.

But yeah, material engineering (or chemistry) isn't really my forte so I'll just keep things to that point, in deference to any engineer out there with better knowledge over what happens when a chunk of SS pits due to to heat.

In short, no. Not as a primary use mod. As a secondary dripper or backup mod yeah it's good. But like I said, as a primary it's too feature limited IMHO. Besides the 80W max, it's barely an upgrade over your DNA40. Plus the internal sub-18650 battery won't last that long under constant use really.

If you want a primary upgrade, get the S-Body Macro DNA75 or the VapeCige SD Mini 75 or the Nano or something bro. Might seem a bit steep to go up to a DNA75 device, but it's worth the investment... and size-wise it's pretty hard to beat those three up there.

DNA60 is also good and small but there's a lack of "reasonably" priced good 60 Mods at the moment (ehem... Epetite... ehem) so I'll just not say anything.

Orrrrrr, you can just get a Pico. It's a decent small mod that does everything OK. Built is decent and you gotta be careful of the janky 510 and liquid ingress (which killed my Pico), but otherwise it's pretty much the workhorse of the Tiny Brigade. Plus ArticWolf custom FW can make it kinda sorta a DNA.

The Smok AL85? Avoid like the plague if you wanna do TC as the mod simply sucks at it.

i am a collector as well. i have plenty of rda rdta & rta...
not to mention those pricey & high end ones, for rdta i experienced the best was Demon Hunter RDTA from Smokjoy. They are the 1st to come out with top ctr refill & it never leak even once during my 5mths usage. I sold more than 100pcs. lol
