My breakdown shall be:

A1: stock android & dual camera. No NFC. Released date: 2017
G5s plus: got Oreo update & dual camera. With NFC. Released date: 2017
P2: battery & amoled screen. With NFC. Released date: 2016

I read your older post, you mentioned don't buy P2 now since SRP is still RM1k. Hmmm...

The only reason not to get P2 is merely the Android updates and security patches are absolutely obnoxious. But if we don't mind about the updates, P2 is a safe buy for long term usage...

However, since for the same price we can opt for better options, better get the alternatives as Android update and camera output are ultimately superior than P2... unless can get brand new unit of P2 for less than RM800 than only P2 is worth the penny...

Nevertheless, all the other options missed TWO main criteria that's the Super AMOLED panel and monsterous energy capacity...

Another good alternative is Samsung Galaxy J Pro:


It's kind of Dilemma Wonderland within the same price bracket of P2...choose wisely to fulfill your needs...

Added: after sales service so and so.. Then again touch wood nothing happen after buying.

Add in huawei nova 2i also now.. rm 1.3k. hmmmmmm

RM1K price segment is hactic... Too many choices... But not many models offering Super AMOLED panel... My top 3 priority is Super AMOLED, energy and NFC...

The 4K UHD vix is very smooth...

Yeah. This is the best price for new original P2.
In my opinion, for this price I should get mi A1 instead, factoring the depreciation value in future.

My fren one rm650 malaysia or global set.

Hopefully the next iPhone XS will have Broadcom 47755 GPS module baked into the motherboard (or SoC...?):



Currently, my P2 is doing excellent job in Navi... the best out of all smartphones I've own for the past decade...

With BCM47755 in-house, the accuracy is at par with military weapon and energy consumption is cut by half (25nm process...)

Not sure, if it's 32Gb ROM with 4GB. Should be original Malaysian set

Waze randomly have issue with my p2, while google map sometimes only, accuracy yes wow or on par with a9 pro or s7e on real life usage.

Suspect certain rom ada issue with the apps.

Same spec as mine. But do note that p2, imo need 2gb free in internal and and external memory else i do notice an obvious lag will appear.
