The glass are all flat. Hence, in order to avoid "halo", especially at the sides of fingerprint scanner, we have to peel off the top and bottom back panel to loosen the screws at all corners of the screen.

Better get more than 2 units of tempered glass to ensure satisfactory results...

I'm using Digi and I can't enable it in my mi A1

DiGi VoLTE is "phone-specific". Only DiGi can enable the VoLTE function in the phone. The same goes to webe telco.

But YES VoLTE will work on any phones that has Band 38/40 on either SIM 1 or SIM 2. P2a42 supports YES VoLTE out-of-the-box.

sonicbull, don't envy with P2a42 stand-by drain and single-charge performance...

Recognized as GAMING mobile device (the cheapest in the list).....

Cleaner combustion is the future...



p/s : P2 is also environmental-friendly as it can last more than 2 years for the same stock Li-Po battery...

We should be glad that P2 still has physical module for the FM radio... too bad for Apple product series, very expensive investment and yet no basic 3.5mm jack AND FM radio too... wireless for 3rd world countries is still in the making...

My mi A1 last one day. Only third party app running in background are WhatsApp and fate grand order game and battery keep dropping. Will test battery usage further.

Does cache or running apps that consume battery. Or both...

For brand new device, please allow at least 3 full charging cycle to evaluate the energy consumption performance. The 3 charging cycles allow the ROM to pick up enough data to analyze on which background apps to be kept running or not... This is where Doze feature will play an important role to control stand-by drain, especially during bed time...

To further evaluate the energy consumption, put the device in "AIRPLANE" mode during bedtime (8 hours I presume...) and see the next day battery drop. With proper Doze implementation, the energy consumption should be between 1% - 3% for 8 hours doze (depending on the capacity of the Built-in Li-Po battery; in this instance, Mi A1 has 3080mAh capacity...)

P2 during 8 hours airplane mode only consumes 0.1% per hour, which turns out to be around:
= 0.1% x 8 hours = 0.8% (aka 0.8% x 5,100 mAh = 40.8 mAh)



But since my unit is reaching 12 months old, the 5,100 mAh is now around 4,800 mAh or so...

1) what's the average SOT for running dual SIM and constantly on 4g? Usage includes
- light gaming such as gunbound
- mainly WhatsApp, Facebook and social media
- web browsing
- paired with my Bluetooth earphones about 2-3 hours a day
* On stock rom, no tweaks or root or greenify

2) is it dual SIM active, or standby?
