Sry, but where in the phone is this Lenovo Companion diagnostics?

I do intermittently face irregular accelerometer/auto-rotate issue. We just need to lock the device and unlock again to reset the accelerometer readings...

Wait, are u on Nougat? Coz i dont have this self diagnostics. Im still on marshmallow. But my auto-rotate issue is just recent. Weird.

Ok i google it and now the lenovo companion is called Lenovo Help.



The app look abit different than yours. But sensor test came out ok.

The Lenovo Companion is available since Mellow. Maybe you accidentally deleted the app. You can install "Lenovo Help" from Playstore below:

Yeah now dat u mention it, i did delete some apps when i first got the phone. Not a fan of manufacturer's built-in apps.

I never touch poke-here-poke-there-poke-everywhere...

Did u guys experience lag on FB apps?
I'm quite a heavy FB user & I always experience the lag/freeze for few seconds after scrolling for more than 10 mins, sometime it even not response then force close.....
But I also experience the same issue with my ex-Note5..............
Not sure it's due to my usage problem or other issue.....

hi sifus. planning to change phone. I'm currently using iphone 5s with digi plan for a year and plan to sell it. my phone is fine and want to sell it while it still has some value.

my phone is to prioritize to up my productivity.

Phone Mostly use for:
1. gps for waze
2. 4G hotspot to download & upload big files
3. fb/whatsapp/wechat/twitter/emails/youtube
4. spotify when radio stations keep replaying same songs
5. web browsing
6. occasionally games
7. take photos of item for work(not in dark enviroment)
8. NFC for future proof (alipay)
9. maybe learn making android app
10. don't want to waste money on phone every 2-3 years
11. dont care to be hipster with iphone x or note 8 (i love note 8 stylus/xiaomi quick ball features though)
12. one handed mode when needed as i have small hands

thinking of lenovo p2 or moto z play for the amazing battery life. cheapest i can find in lazada for P2 price is at RM1048 (RRP:RM1299) while moto z play is RM1338

1) is future security update important or we can download those anti virus app to substitute?
2) should i wait for P3 and buy P2 then?

anybody knows how much to replace the batery? btw unintentionally done water test to my P2, still alive after 3 days drying

Was in the same boat as you. Z Play had a promotion with free modular powerbank and 2nd year warranty. Now no more powerbank. Decided to get P2. Same screen and processor. Z Play only worth it if you play with the modular components.

Just google and find out Modular phones are dead. Good idea but too high cost to produce it for now.
Rm499 for the battery pack? Might as well just buy powerbank, right.

I guess I'll go to Lenovo mobile store to test P2 before buying.

Modular can be successful if implemented correctly... Owning the mod(s) is not cost effective... If the mod(s) is offered by "rental" basis, I'm in the game to play... Say I can rent the gamepad mod for USD10/week, I'm willing to go for it... If the camera Hassalblad and LCD Projector mods are offered at USD50/week, it's a great choice for one week vacation plan...

But paying upfront for these mod(s) is simply illogical... We'll see whether LeMoto will continue the modular offering for next year... I believe after next year, LeMoto will give up and seek other more cost effective concept in the mobile world...
