Can always tell them to reply you via email rather than calling. Even after calling, can ask them to drop you an email to confirm the conversation.

I last used in last year, they won't check.

However, I read somewhere stating it will start to check if you have CIMB card now. Not sure how true is that, I flew in MAS back in May but was a last minute flight, so didn't try GL.

Complained via email on 8th August. Received automated email on 10th August that it will forward to relevant department. Nothing.

Did a follow-up on 15th August and received same standard reply on 17th August.

Fine, escalated to BNM.

Forgot to update, officer from CRU called me yesterday's afternoon after received my complaint to BNM and assured me that they will speak to Lazada and my cash back will be credited in next statement.

Though not immediate crediting but better than nothing I guess.

They said they will work with Lazada to fix this. I wasn't happy when she mentioned that will get their marketing team to "reconsider" to give me 5%. I told her I'm not begging for that 5%, it's the flaw in system to categorise it under retail. I asked her back did she ever see a Lazada physical shop anywhere? She said no. I asked her again what's the purpose to come up with a co-branding card with Lazada if simple things like this cannot be fixed. laugh.gif
