QUOTE(hitch80 @ Aug 3 2017, 04:51 PM) yeap..this what I argued as well...to consumer point it is online..lazada does not have physical outlet Same argument I used when I argued for Taobao HZ 2% cash back. It was categorized under groceries. I was like? Since when you see a Taobao supermarket in Malaysia? Oh well. |

QUOTE(bodohseyh @ Aug 4 2017, 05:38 PM) Hi I just got my first credit card which is CIMB cash rebate All expenses regardless online or physical swipes are considered as retail spending. So I've fulfilled the 1) First CIMB credit card 2) Apply through cimbclicks. So now only the last part which is to spend RM500 between 60 days after card approval for retail (excluding petrol, online purchase, dining) May I know what is really categorised as retail? Is it those physical shops like Tesco, or shopping malls , furniture or any place that sells stuffs? Thank you! Advanced cash, balance transfer are examples of not retail spending. |

QUOTE(bodohseyh @ Aug 4 2017, 05:52 PM) I see. Thanks! By their definition, why dining is not included then? Because when I spoke to the customer service regarding this promotion, he said only expenses in physical shops like Tesco will be counted. Petrol, online purchase & dining are excluded. I also just read the terms and conditions and it didn't mention anything like the customer service told me Thanks again |

QUOTE(kyle_kl @ Aug 6 2017, 12:17 PM) Lazada now is not guarantee for 5% rebate regardless desktop, apps, or web browser. If it's posted as Lazada KUALA LUMPUR MY, then 0.2%; if E-CART then 5%.Some Lowyat members reported they only got 0.2% while a few said they still got 5%... it depends on your luck now. |

I always wonder why we need a template to make complaint?
Well, that's me as I always write my own complaint. I feel that if everyone is using the same template, banks/organizations may not take them seriously. Oh yeah, in this case BNM is copied, maybe they will. |

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Aug 8 2017, 12:10 PM) It's a show of power that it is not an isolated case. The more people get together, the more powerful the complain. That's what I think. I know I'm not stopping anyone to make complaints, and complain more to make our voice heard. However, a simple email will do and write our own complaints and if that is done earlier, by now already got back the cash back rather than asking around for a complaint template. That's my opinion. |

QUOTE(jianwei90 @ Aug 8 2017, 02:18 PM) But again it only affects MCC 9399 - Government Services. It seems based on this thread: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3711577 MPPJ is not listed or yet to be reported. You can try if you are adventurous. This post has been edited by fruitie: Aug 8 2017, 02:26 PM |

QUOTE(kevyeoh @ Aug 8 2017, 05:56 PM) It doesn't consider but we can complain.I have already sent an email not long after my post here. Let's see how they will react, if nothing constructive then escalate to BNM. |
