I am using theme namely Android N by Xeymoire

Just now I noticed something.. Received a call as usual, then when I was about to end the call, saw this tiny phone icon with the "HD" letters. It this new due to the update, or any of you guys had this "HD" call all the while?

Had always set the VoLTE to on, but never got this "HD" icon.. only noticed after today's update.

Is this the VoLTE in action?

The Malaysian set works with local LTE bands

the import ones can be random;

The import ones from INDIA (called Redmi Note 4 in India) dont support Malaysia LTE. Missing Band 40

The import ones from CHINA and HONG KONG (called Redmi Note 4X in China and Hong Kong) support Malaysia LTE

Which Malaysia telco use Band 40 LTE?

lowest price is maybe 649 . Ordereded last week 2nd of May .

Just turned it on and immediately got update to MIUI V8.2.4.0

this one is MTK right? cheapest for SD 625 how much? only found RM 755..think it can go down abit more

The Pink color is Qualcomm set, available in China as RN 4X . Personally confirmed in "About Phone" section : Octacore is Qualcomm, Deca Core is MTK.

But now I check price up to RM724 already .

third party theme is support in miui?

that theme he usingis from the official xiaomi theme store.

3rd party theme you will need to root and use xposed. its working for me (with xposed)

if you use redmi note 4 snapdragon and using latest nougat miui rom then no xposed and no 3rd party theme.
