hi guys, i having some battery saving issues while screen locked / sleep mode...
1. Email app doesn't auto sync to server
2. GPS not connected to satellite

wondering how can we allow the apps run in background even though screen locked or sleep mode?

Yup. The green color in Pokemon Go is so washed out. It's night and day compared to Samsungs AMOLed screens.

But for the price. I don't dare or need to complain. If not too demanding screen is OK.

Redmi Pro is using China Made AMOLed. Colors are nicer than RN4.

maybe u need to configure the apps background setting. set to 'no restriction' in power/battery saver.

which one u all prefer?. black matte or steel grey?

I bought Redmi Note 4 from Lazada Mi Store. When I check the IMEI code in the website below, it shown IMEI not exist.. I'm wondering how to check the product authenticity:

call centre and give your IMEI sometimes they take the phone from other country like singapore but yet to activate

Nobody's answering, so I answer it myself.
After few hours of research, this is what I found.

1) RN4 =/= Redmi 4. Both using difference processor/GPU
2) RN4 = RN 4X (malaysia version). The difference is probably the camera sensor.
3) RN4 Pro => the "Pro" is simply to denote it is using Snapdragon processor. Sometimes RN 4X Pro appears, where the Pro is to denote it is using SD processor as well.

But centre verify their phones are original.

My wife's RN4 (Malaysia set) has inconsistent GPS performance. If Waze through connecting to hotspot/wifi, there's no problem with GPS setting. However, it's unable to set location if it's using data on its own. Anybody has similar experience?

Mine working fine. Use waze more than 5 times using data.

May I know if you're updated to the latest firmware version and your telco? thanks!
