nothing new with gdex.

maybe their service is ok if the shipping address is in taman or mid town or big city, but definitely not for kampung address like mine, and maybe yours  biggrin.gif

usually the question they ask when call me is "when u want come to our office and collect your item?" and not "where else can we meet since we can't deliver your item to the shipping address?"
*
I llearnt a lesson this time , never order stuff which shipped by Gdex . Lol . I never had a problem with pos laju, fast shipping also. I think digi should use either Gdex or pos laju according to addresses .

not necessary.. depends on what ISP that you plan to use.. in our case its Digi, then yes use one with sim card slot for ease of use..

Hey guys. Thought of getting the new Digi Infinite 150.

Which modem/router/mifi etc will you guys recommend ?

Gonna share the connection to the whole house(terrace house) if possible. I already have a D-Link and TP-Link from Streamyx and there are quite old, around 2013 routers xD

they dont want to deliver it to your house and want someone to collect at office thus keep the item in office.

just go nearest digi store and request change simcard for the i150 number.
*
That reminds me, switching from Prepaid to infinite 150 is quite fast (less than 4 hours) but switching from infinite 150 to Prepaid is taking its time...(did make one at the local Digi stores) hmm.gif

Just applied to change from my Plan 50 to Infinite 150. Planning to use the phone as a tethering device while at home for gaming/download stuffs. Not practical?

Btw, went to Kampung Sungai Penchala, and this is the speed test I got from my current DiGi 50 plan 4G.

I tried this, the performance is not comparable to using an actual LTE modem.

Trend 3G better than 4G is coming

Y sad if ur 3g exceed 20mbps?that is a nice speed ah...
*
I was expecting better down speed on 4G though. Even on 3G, upload speed is pretty bad. And both 3G and LTE is tested with the router placed beside the window.

they will prorate on bill.

like my case billing cycle 12th and sim activated on 7th

1st bill they deducted approx rm35 from my rm300 deposit
*
They actually calculated on the day you registered your SIM which is very unfair.

I see, anyway luckily I have a modem for standby. Will compare the performance soon. I guess it's not good for the phone condition?

Anyway, has anyone exceed 1TB usage for Infinite 150 plan? What happen after that?

How is your speed with E5186? =)

Guys, according to digi website there is no indoor LTE-A coverage at my house but outdoor LTE-A coverage is full. Should i invest in LTE-A modem and yagi/mimo antenna? or just stick with normal LTE modem?

Thanks

Buy the router and test first. See what is the difference when it is placed outdoor vs indoor.
