Can i use asus antenna on e5186? Since it using SMA port

is it asus antenna from wifi router?

i think the sma antenna at e5186 is for signal antenna which is 3g/4g and not for wifi

u need to make sure that sma port is for 3/4G antenna instead of SMA wifi antenna,

on the other note, jumped on the 150 plan. Speed is good at my jungle area since not congested.
Manage 30mbps easily, some location fine tuning will likely to increase it but it's not needed at the moment. (seriously guys, what to download? that dilemma...)
speed still can't beat a god damn iPhone though it's LTE chip is crazy good... (80mbps...)

speedtest download playstore or apps store game no use...it wont run full speed.... even streamyx also run like snail.

yeap, tat is what i said, next time check ur RSRQ often, i mean compare the RSRQ/SNR/ASU for both 30mbps and 1mbps, u will get what i mean

most important is see the "b" or "B" shown on your screen

if you do any speedtest (i think), the unit always be mbps which is small b, megabits per second

if you download, IDM, phone speed indicator, xunlei etc, the unit will be mBps which is capital B, megabytes per second

1 mBps = 8 mbps
1.8m mBps around 16 mbps lo

I got confused cos the phone shows XX M/s.. so I do not know what M/s means. But fortunately kind souls like you helped cleared things up. There are converters online where I can easily use now know that M/s is actually MB/s. Once again, thank you very much.

My house can get 40M for band 7, and 25M for band 3. Thunderstorms yesterday and bomb the band 7. Now band 3 is congested.....

Mine until 12th May. I try to lock at Band 3 & 7, the signal seems ok, -55. But the speed is still around 7-10Mbps. Wait till 12th May. Will call again if problem still persist.

From the clue you gave, I also discovered that B310 is 2015 model, while E5172 is 2013 model. Since the price is the same, might as well go for the newer model B310. Thank you very much.
