I have one Maxis 10Mbps, one UniFi Biz 5Mbps and one Unifi Advance 30Mbps and also tried TIME (no longer using it due to the limited coverage). Overall Maxis is still the best so far. They can supply the speed up to 90% all the time and the speed never drops like UniFi.

that's why it is for budgeted users. If heavy downloaders, 50Mbps or even 100Mbps are targetted at them for reasons.

The price for ABN Xcess 10Mbps is cheaper than this. But too bad, now they close shop ady😂.

I asked one of the technical person in TM last week.

R & F = Max 4Mbps (ADSL2+)
Vxxxx = Max 8mbps (ADSL2+)
VB and VC = VDSL card inside. Ready for future high speed bandwidth due to VDSL2 card installed inside.

Only if your cabinet are tagged as VB and VC will be ready for Unifi Lite if TM allowed it after technical inspection.

Fuuuu...if only have rm99 w/o hypptv+voice then m ready to ditch my 4mbps@rm88..

My area the cabinet tagged as F only but can support up to 8mbps...

that's why they cannot survive. they try to build their old infra and again try to offer cheap plan, they cannot balance their profit, of course cannot survive.

that's why, even a business can have Internet bandwidth than consumer nowadays.

for normal user, who just purely doing web surfing or streaming for full HD video, 5 to 10Mbps is more than sufficient even it is shared.

for heavy user, who are downloading or streaming for 4k video, 30Mbps plan and above is perfect for them.

in the end, it is not the no of users matter, but what most users do.

if charge 200++ nobody will register one.. unless important.. most family i saw depend on mobile phone.. it's not like we need to attach to internet every day..
tmnet is rock because monopoly.. now the fibre line so slow.. movement..

Hi guys, I am thinking to upgrade from Screamyx 1mbps + the fixed home line to higher speed fiber. Is this plan good? It seems like a rip off as compared to VIP10.

if upgrade to unifi, any surcharge for the hardware?

How about maxis? is it stable?

Local TM Point says my area will be covered by unifi within this year so no Unifi lite for me,and they said it's not an upgrade option for streamyx user upgrading to lite because the infrastructure is completely different…the heck？

Now my area doesn't have Unifi,Celcom LTE,Digi LTE,Streamyx 8mbps…nothing！And the damn lottery just doesn't hit,mana macam move away！

Can try checking through live chat, through there they told me which cabinet am I connected to. In my case, also using 8Mbps on a cabinet starting with F(F013).

May be for d Q2 2017 campaign the package price is rm149 n must Inc hypptv n voice-std.

After that may be Unifi Lite is say RM1xx. And hypetv-rm30 n Voice-std-rm20 are addons n optional.

I think the free local TM-fixline calls are included in the Unifi lite-rm99.
