edit : so basically is TM using VDSL or is it VDSL2 ? and are they going to also implement VDSL Vectoring(noise canceling something2)? (idk what im talking about)
At my place I can get ping of 30ms or less with streamyx 8Mbps package. I think the ping depends on the quality of the connection and the distance from the server.
My speedtest result for streamyx 8Mbps:

If your place has 4G coverage, sure worth than Streamyx 4mbps. But I am facing YouTube buffering issue here with DiGi. Do let me know if you face the same too. Thanks.
I think the telco tower at your place is congested with many users causing network slowdowns.
TM gets most of its profit form selling bandwidth to other Internet Service Providers(ISP) like Maxis,Digi and etc. TM owns nationwide infrastructure such as fibre backbone in which other ISPs share and rent.
I heard someone unifi lite is not fibre, is it true?
Yes depends on the area.
So for the areas which has Unifi coverage currently will use the fiber version of the plan. And for area without Unifi coverage will use the VDSL version of the plan.
Can this be true for this is d first time i heard Streamyx is more stable than Unifi? I am a user of both services n intend to upgrade d streamyx to Unifi too.
I have heard that many Unifi user complain that the line is not stable. I am still using Streamyx 8Mbps and I do not perform upload a lot.
Let's all wait for the official launch by Tm. TM staffs are also not sure what the shit they are doing. Some say my place got coverage and some say my place do not have coverage.
i think using copper wire... but they exchange old copper wire at my house to a new one... and they use 12mbps down & 6mbps up port
Before this what plan did you use, Streamyx or Unifi. If Streamyx did you have the option to keep the old number after upgrading to this Unifi Lite plan.
Best to call up tm agent to find out because tm point will tell u not available just like my bro case Agent + some tm people working hand in hand to earn some side income by doing so
Yup, as the demand gets higher and higher in the future fiber is the only way to go. If you were to pay the same amount of money to a person you would probably want him to work on expanding unifi coverage instead of upgrading streamyx infra. Common sense right.
Yeah you are right. Fibre is future proof and copper is not. TM is wasting its money upgrading Streamyx infrastructure.
