QUOTE(froggyx @ Apr 13 2017, 08:26 PM) Planning to make it as a home wifi network....so not gonna use handphone at all.any other option?thanks. https://www.lelong.com.my/huawei-b593-lte-4...8-04-Sale-P.htmYou would want to consider something like this. Although Huawei is more expensive than most brand, their modem's stability is much higher others. If you don't care about portability, don't even think about buying Huawei E5786. I can't tell for sure but it seems you don't need an extra antenna.

If performance not so good only consider antenna.

Thanks for the prompt reply..great reading here as i am one of users f@cked by TM with no option for unifi or upgrade..ithink its time to show the finger to TM. Sorry for the late reply. Yes, just put in the SIM card and it should work. You can share wifi with this. It can act like the router in your house.

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Apr 13 2017, 04:01 PM) If Unifi Lite 10 is RM129(Promo)/149(Normal Price), then TM may again revise the Streamyx pricing... 2mbps RM100/120(NP), 4mbps RM110/130(NP), 8mbps RM120/140(NP), just like when they launched Unifi in 2010. RM129 is not a promo price. RM 99 + RM 30 HyppTV Pack = RM 129 is the normal price. With GST RM129*1.06 = 136.74 And no free call too. Wanna free call, add another RM 20 before GST. Reprising Streamyx for new customer is easy, but not existing one This post has been edited by Xefron: Apr 14 2017, 08:16 AM

Just curious. You or anyone 4G LTE modem owners... Have you guys compare using phone and your modem and does it varies in speed due to signal strength? Thanks, QUOTE(Chriss @ Apr 13 2017, 11:21 PM) Excellent choice Huawei E5776s owner here
