Can't blame, if TM has good service, there is no such situation.
Even the cabling is ready, you may wait for year to install unifi.

Anyway, i suggest create another thread for digi inifite lol.

definitely going for the Huawei one.
*
Cheaper solution is using Webe if just for 1 device. (depend coverage)

Well if TM would take time to care for streamyx customers such as give a planned upgrade or better connection it wouldnt be this way.

Give surprise also in voucher while othees are enjoying speed upgrade...other isp are going by the hundred of mb per second and we are stuck at single digit speed. Go figure.

Using 1Mbps this day is as worse as using TMnet 1515 in 90s era

I hope more TM competitors will come out with similar DIGI INFINITE plans so that their disgruntled Streamyx users will migrate out enmass.

Thanks for the feedback. both tested about same time? I used my iphone 7+ on "3G" and can get up to ~16Mbps actual download during 4-6am and steady decline toward prime hours. If modem can't even match the speed of iPhone, that's kinda suck.
*
Yes tested at same time and both tested on 4G connection. Anyway just an observation from a layman. I'm not techie so can't explain why. And digi at my place not that great. I get 46 Mbps with u mobile, same place same time testing as well.

TM will prefer to be the wholesaler (Fibre infra) to support Cel-co (Maxis, Celcom, Digi) and Cel-co (Webe) than to maintain the copper networks!

I am sure there is new tech mobile broadband available that these rivals can deploy without benefiting TM, to hell TaMa-de. Waiting for the time when TM has to write-off their copper wires n downsize their operations.

Yeah. Huawei is the best. I don't really like OEM, because no warranty.

Only TM and Time are having extensive Fibre network, other mobile networks ride on their fibre network to save cost. A few years later, you may choose to use other internet service provider, but you still need to pay TM/Time for line rental if the copper / fibre line to your house is owned by TM/Time. It is happening in other countries.

– Bernama

1)Passive Infrastructure
1st tier is now being handled by neutral TNB who isn't involved with ISP businesses.
TNB will only lay dark fibres which they lease to anyone interested as long as they have spare cores available for backhaul.

2)Active Network Providers
These are companies which set up their own switching equipments, DSLAMs, OLTs, BGP core routers, and gateways
Example of such active networks we have today are TM's HSBB, Maxis's NGBB, Time Fibre, Symphonet, DiGi and Umobile.

3)Retail Service Providers (RSP) or "Perkhidmatan Runchit"
These are ISPs who rent bandwidth or buy wholesale services from network providers/active wholesale segments to provide last mile itnernet services to consumers.

The good thing is that now all other ISPs such as Time no longer needs to be forced to leased whole packages from TM Wholesale.

They only need to lease dark fibre from TNB and then spent for last mile equipment to potential markets they want to serve.

Salleh keruak + TM = Liers to the bone to maximise vote and money.cant believe this till now people still believe and hoping that TM will make fiber available for the mass.if they really meant it they would have started long time ago when unifi was 'THE' internet service to have.
