I am one step closer to dump my Streamyx. Should you?

Im gonnna jump and buy huawei e5786 and the antenna shown above to attract stronger signal.will inform the results.

Just curious. You or anyone 4G LTE modem owners... Have you guys compare using phone and your modem and does it varies in speed due to signal strength?

What huawei brand u using ?? Seems like modem won't increase the signal?? Or you already at max speed lols

Last time using Maxis 4g modem also can reach around 40-50mb speed. But I have yet to test whether that modem can put in other sim or not  after I terminate my broadband.

How about signals? does modem have better signals than phone?

Kampung uses VDSL which is the copper cable for Streamyx. But if your kampung got UniFi already, then they will use Fiber.

I already sign up for Unifi Lite (10mbps+hypptv+600min-voicecall) for rm149. I was asked if I wanted to include the rm20 voice call. So rm20-voicecall is considered as optional. But so envious of those who got the Unifi Adavance 30 with free upgrade to 50mbps n free voicecall for only rm179, a diff of rm30 with a 5x faster speed. Now I am thinking of cancelling the deal but am afraid of limited availability of Unifi in the future, so need time to ponder over this and has postponed my installation for another 2 weeks.

I highly doubt they would allow us to exclude the voice plan. Who would want the voice plan nowadays with unlimited cellular calls.

this cabinet has been there since 2012 at the main road of my residential area and around 500m from  my house. Also I can see they are installing fibre cable since Dec 2016 the other side of this cabinet and nothing at my road yet. According to TM the will finishing the cable in the end of May 2017 which I dont believe it. However today I saw the this sticker "Awas Fiber Optik". So, this cabinet is for what.

just submitted my application for unifi lite, upgrade from streamyx 4mbps. tm agent told me will direct pull fibre line direct into the house, not using existing copper lines. 129 package( no free calls) is available, saw direct from tm partner website. so can choose with or without the free calls. hypptv no stb, so free channels also through the hypptv app only. will update as and when

I forgot to write that i'm in SUBB VDSL area... ofc no fibre.

i dont see unifi lite at tm website. if i am paying 170 include gst for 8mbps streamyx, i wan upgrade to unifi lite can? but unifi lite is only rm129 right? How to check if my line is ok for unifi lite?
