How was it so far? I cant tell much because I changed together 2 sets new brake pads, definitely have stronger break than before. For this tyre i think really less noise compared to my old one. Just realized this is my first time changing tyre after driving for 4.5 years, my friends and fam was shocked tongue.gif

When cruising highway I noticed "woo woo" sound is more pronounced compared to the previous tyres but need to test out different stretch to fully ascertain it.
Hard cornering probably due to changing 4 at once can feel the tyres able to hold itself quite well. It's no Michelin but def a brand you can lean on.

Has anyone tried both XM2 and XM2+? I wonder what's the biggest improvement between these 2 products. Is it the noise level?

Anybody tried this tyre before? Petlas Velox Sport PT741.

A Turkish tyre company that even Michelin have some shares in.

Seems to have good reviews.

I tend to stay away from unknown brand. Last time even Achilles atr sport 1 or 2 had good reviews from people, fb or YouTube all over the world which due to price.

Tried once on my friends car with 18" atr sport 2 during current raining season, it just move too much even at 60kmh. Grip was very poor at mid - heavy rain but dry is ok.

Looking for 265 70R16 for my Toyota Fortune. Currently I am using Bridgestone Dueller A/T

I am keen to try H/T since I almost never go off road and would like a quite ride

Currently looking at Toyo / Yokohama since the price is about RM 400

Any recommendations?

Noise and wet grip improved on the xm2+ based on real driving condition. Besides that, Michelin claims xm2+ will perform as good when worn which is still left to be tested. Btw, xm2 have given me 100k mileage so I think this set of xm2+ Probably will give that long life until we can give a conclusion the Michelin’s claim.

Overall satisfied with the xm2+ and felt safer driving especially in the wet, less prone to aquaplane unless very deep puddle at high speed.

I'm thinking of replacing my rear tyres from CC6 to XM2+. My front tyres still new and just 1 year old with 15000km driven. XM2+ should be good enough as breaking on my CC6 is bad.

CC6 tread design only good for acoustic reduction but it collects or pools water from the tread design itself..the tried n true 4 deep longkang and tread blocks that is connected on both sides e.g. PS3/GYF1S/NE03 os the way to go for MY heavy rainfall. If use in super dry plave like miami then can use CC6 la.

Safety first! If cost is a concern toyo NE03 also a good tyre for the price. Just make sure best tyres go to the rear.

May I know how does NE03 compared to CC6 and XM2+? Like in term of grip, noise etc. Thanks

Dry grip of course cannot fight Primacy 3, but it is good enough for its price. Will be able to take bends faster than average slowpoke driver in KESAS exit bends, but don't expect to use it to full throttle performance level of PS3 lah.

Wet grip adequate, Primacy 3 slightly better/PS3 way better. Definitely better than CC6. With NE03, didn't recall ABS activate at the end of subang airport road (the sharp inverse ? bend near subang KTM end) wit NE03. NE03 traction A (same class as XM2 traction A), so it is not bad.

Noise wise CC6 is quieter, at the expense of wet grip, the treads are designed for acoustics reduction but sacrificed alot of wet grip because for that price point it is entry level pricing, you can't have everything and cheap. NE03 is not
noisy.
