Well UHP tires are normally a bit noisier than mid range tires due to larger tread blocks and stickier compound. Actually got some UHP tires which are pretty silent like the Hankook V12 Evo 2 and Goodyear F1A2/3 but they are not available for your size.
Nope, MC6 is not available for your size. CPC6 might have your size but somehow Continental Malaysia has not bring in yet, probably coz they substitute by the MC6.  sad.gif  Other UHP tires from Continental is the CSC5/6 series which are only available 17' & 19' upwards.

I think your best bet is the PS3/4. If price difference is minimal then just go with PS4.
*
My car requires size of 235 45 18. I prefer the Hankook v12 as it got good reviews on net. However it doesn’t have my size of 235.
Currently on factory given ps3, ride it around 89k km. List options are ps4 (a bit expensive), ps3, conti mc6 (brand new model) might have a try on mc6, cause it cheaper around 200+ per donut.
Is mc6 is recommended?

I once used really cheap tyre for my 2nd car, iinm its brand is Zeetec, Thailand brand back in 2012. It thread design kinda like premium tyres with price is really cheap. However once my car skid and turn around during heavy rain on 70km/h in Kajang Silk highway. Luckily other car able to stop or else hit me during that accident. That time the tyre is on 8 months old. That the last time im using cheap tyres.

Guys, it’s time for me to change the tyres on my car, so I need your help for some recommendations

Currently on Goodyear GT3 (stock tyre)
Size 175/65 R15

I guess for that tire size it’s most probably gonna be either XM2/CC6 or anything else that you might recommend?

I’m actually okay with the current GT3, but it can be slightly noisy. The threadwear for me is acceptable too (~40k km with 30% left), but the tyre noise is quite loud to me

I have a myvi with XM2 and boy that tire just doesn’t wear. But overall NVH and comfort seems acceptable. Should I just stick with XM2?

My priorities are wet/dry grip for safety/braking purposes. I really don’t drive fast or aggressive. Comfort/NVH is a very good added bonus

Thanks!
*
bridgestone re003

Saw many mod myvi use these tires. Review show wet performance of this tires is so so

Toyo Nano Energy 3 or Dunlop SP Sport J5 ?
Please comment ! TQ

Dunlop sport j5.

the thread looks very deep and at least better than my old Silverstone during raining days.

i wonder how is Goodyear Excellence ranked but i feel it is a good all-rounder (dunno whether it is because of the tyres itself or the car performance, it came as stock to 2016 2.0 Accord).

If given a choice (forget about budget/$), what would be the best replacement tyres? PS4?
*
The best especially on wet surface is ps4. But a bit harsh. Primacy 4 for comfort vs ps4.
Best value for money (cheaper) is Hankook brand

Hi gus... Any good tyre recommendations for honda accord 2.0 (225/50R17)? Currently using potenza re003 but I think they won't last long since I will clock 10k km within 3-4month.. So the current one might last up to 40k km only..any performance tyre that can last longer than this? Thanks.
*
If budget is available, suggest the Michelin ps4. Been used it on accord 235/45/18 for >37k km, the thread is still there.

Previously on Ps3 from new car till 90k km.

90k km on a 1.5 tonne sedan, on a UHP?! Your drive mostly on highway?
*
Mostly highway. Wife drove the car most of time, believe that the reason the tire can last that long.

Yeah they're generally slower and less furious compared to man. Slower + less traffic violation + less death + less drunk driving, and less tyre treadwear : P

Although I'd say when it comes to emergency situation man generally have a better response and maneuver skills
*
They usually had speed max at 120kmh. While we are different

Anybody tried this tyre before? Petlas Velox Sport PT741.

A Turkish tyre company that even Michelin have some shares in.

Seems to have good reviews.
*
I tend to stay away from unknown brand. Last time even Achilles atr sport 1 or 2 had good reviews from people, fb or YouTube all over the world which due to price.

Tried once on my friends car with 18" atr sport 2 during current raining season, it just move too much even at 60kmh. Grip was very poor at mid - heavy rain but dry is ok.

Thanks for those info, appreciate it. Do you think it is worth the money to also replace my front tyres which are only 1 year old with about 15000 km driven?
*
Try ask shop to buy the used tyre and deduct it from your new tyre purchase. But dont expect they will pay good price.

Or else get the tyre to your fb marketplace
