Can anyone recommend me a set of tyres for 255/50/19 (front) and 285/45/19 (rear)? Currently a tyre shop recommended me Nexen.

GO for Michelin Ps4 or even primacy 4 (for more comfort). Alternatively you can look at GY asym5

Can anyone help me on ranking between these tyres; XM2+, CC6, EP150 and ES32? Im looking for comfortable ride with excellent grip in wet and dry. Nevermind the threadwear. Thanks! rclxub.gif

They're all comfortable but far from having excellent grip. Lol Probably XM2+ should be the best among these low end models.

Yeah 14' are just like that. Minimum 15' to get good performance tires.

Had a bad experience with Champiro BAX 2 205/55/16

It came stock with my car. I drive "spiritedly". Each time their sidewall bulge. 2 at the front first, then 2 at the back.
I am unsure why people recommended this tyre. I boycotted the brand totally, not only the model.

Now I went for Bridgestone, Yokohama and Michelin and am very satisfied with my experience so far.

When I switched to Potenza RE003, Yokohama Advan Fleva and Michelin PS4, everyone who ride the car told me it was more comfortable than the Champiro BAX 2.

Guys.

Anyone used Viking ProTech PT6?
How does this compare with GY Assurance Triplemax 2?

A bit wary of Viking cos their parent company's CC5 is horrendous.

Goodyear is often even better than Continental, do you think Viking which is the lower sub brand of Continental can be better than Goodyear?? No chance bro!

(1.8-litre Japanese sedan on stock suspensions)

Brand: Hankook Ventus V12 evo2
Size: 215/45/R17
Installed: AUG 2019
Driving conditions: 60% city / 40% highway

Comment:
-Value for money as cost <RM300 each and made in Korea
- Softer sidewall (compared to previous Nexen N8000/ lasted ~50K km)
- Low noise and good traction for overall Malaysian weather
- Reasonable thread wear for an entry level performance tyre

Will I ever get one again?
Yes, as long it is made in country of origin - Korea
