Goodyear Excellence. Decent tyre, comfort biased. Soft sidewall so steering isn't as sharp. Tyre noise is average.

Goodyear Assurance Triplemax 2. Better wet grip and braking iirc.
New product from goodyear.

Toyo Proxes TR1, entry level high performance tyre. I'm looking to change up to that, 195 55 16 for my City. Excellence is my OEM tyre, but I should like more stiffer sidewall and a little bit more ground clearance.

i wonder how is Goodyear Excellence ranked but i feel it is a good all-rounder (dunno whether it is because of the tyres itself or the car performance, it came as stock to 2016 2.0 Accord).

If given a choice (forget about budget/$), what would be the best replacement tyres? PS4?

Excellence is a comfort based tyres. If you are talking about replacement, then it’ll be the michelin primacy 4 instead of ps4.

Tried excellence before. It’s a good Tyre but don’t expect it to perform like UHP or max performance tyres. It’s good for normal daily drives. Plus, it’s price is very attractive.

The best especially on wet surface is ps4. But a bit harsh. Primacy 4 for comfort vs ps4.
Best value for money (cheaper) is Hankook brand

Would you choose the Hankook S1Noble2 over the GY Excellence?

Between the 2, it’s a close one as both are basically normal rated tyres. I’d go for Goodyear.

Promotion by Lim Tayar... buy 2 free 2. I've never heard of this brand either. But curious because of the offer.

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 2
Michelin Pilot Sport 3

Better change size to 195/55R15 from stock 185/55R15, to get better availability

Do you guys do the nitrogen gas inflation? Was told it's good for tires, but i also found two articles both say it's good but not a must-have. Thought?
