Not many good tyre produce that size, I think PS3 among the best compare with Conti CC5 or Yoko Cdrive2.  nod.gif
For budget/cheap tyre but good performance can try Neuton NT8000 refer: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=947105&hl=
*
theres also bridgestone, hankook or kumho to look at

really depends on what you want, performance, or comfort. or both, but pay premium price (eg: Michelin PS3)

Kumho KU36 in 205/50/15 (abt RM320)

Federal 595 RSR in 195/50/15 or 205/50/15 (abt rm380/420)

both will smack PS3 on track

Achilles 123 (at less than 300-but these are race tires aka semi slicks)
*
i can vouch for Achilles 123, just dont use them on rainy days/wet roads rolleyes.gif

thx for the suggest bro...
i prefer comfort & performance...
need to be good in both dry & wet...
very spirited driving on the road...
but not on track...
must be durable also...
so PS3 will be the best choice...
finding another alternative...
will try to look on the kumho & federal...
but it's very pricy...
*
ps3 is among the best balance. and at the same time is the priciest, if you're already ok with ps3, i suggest just sticking with it smile.gif

Looking for tyre for 205/60R15 , Yokohama C Drive 2 , Yokohama A Drive, Bridgestone GR 90 , Falken 322 or other brands.

I looking for tyre which have good grip on dry and wet surface . Which one is more recommended ?
*
from your mentioned brands, perhaps bridgestone.

consider michelin, goodyear F1 lineup, hankook if you're on budget

I go to ask for the Bridgestone GR 90 and the price given is RM 260+ . Is the price normal or not ?
*
for 15", and since you're on wider/thicker profiles, yeah should be around that price

Actually the tyre size I using now is 195/65R15. If I change 205/60R15 , any effect or not ? I just want to change two tyre so the two tyre I should put at front or rear ?
*
if changing only 2, better if you keep it same size with the remaining 2.

new tires front/back is up to own preference. depending if you prefer to deal with over or under steering

How bout pilot 3? Nexen 8000? Mc5? Or any recomended?
*
not so much the brand/model, its more towards if you get low profile tires, you WILL have worse NVH (noise vibrations harshness)

Thinking of getting Goodyear F1 Directional 5..

Hi All Sifu here,

A newbie here looking for new donuts for Mazda 2, which had an odd spec (195/45R16).
Any recommendation for good performance in dry and wet condition and also low noise?

Being quoted Michelin PS 3 RM 580/pc, Goodyear F1 D5 RM 435/pc..

Someone told me should try on Japan tire, like Toyo.

What should I do???

Thanks in advance..
*
can consider toyo or yokohama tires, however wet grip i believe michelin ps3/good year eagle f1 AS2 would still be superior, albeit more expensive.

depending on how you prioritize noise/comfort, yokohama advan db is their flagship in low NVH/comfort tires smile.gif

Currently running on ZE912. Those tyre noise kinda loud, so was thinking change to some lower tyre noise tyre.

Any recommend?

195/50/R15

c drive 2 isnt too bad, much cheaper than yokohama's advan db that's for sure lol

Daym. Why they selling tires that can kill ppl? Complain to falken
*
actually it isn't so much they selling tires that kill people, it's people speeding beyond the tire's capabilities.

based on my 15 years of driving experience, Michelin still the best for medium income people like me. Best during rain and long life

Been tried the Maxxis, dunlop, and bridgestone, Michelin still pawn all.

a bit ironic i'd say
