I think i can confirm that pay PTPTN through PTPTN portal is no eligible for cash back.

Last month all my spending are on pay back PTPTN, but until today I didn't get any cash back!

I just called to bank to cancel my UOB One plat, he said others department will call back me.

And I just ask about why my just approved YOLO charge AF. then he told me 1st AF memang charge, 2nd Year only free AF. And subsequent year will be charged too. And I asked tnc there is 1 swipe per month for AF waivers, he said no such thing, that is apply to vox card only. Felt so ridiculous.

I'm still thinking shall I cancel the card now (AF being charged but no use after AF charged), or i pay for this year AF and enjoy 2nd year free AF and cancel 3rd year.

perhaps u gotten YOLO Lite Platinum.

double-check with CS what type of YOLO u've gotten.

Just for updates, gotten my lady's platinum card RM50 cash back from spending at braun buffel, on 19th May. This is for april's spending.

I might put up eligible list if response are plenty, else, happy spending.

Huh really don't know got such thing? What mean lite platinum? For those not meeting min requirement? But I update them with my latest income documents which is annual income 60k.

Edit : Called CS, I never ask why I gotten Lite instead of normal platinum since my income far exceed the min requirement. I just ask the different of Lite & Normal Plat, no difference for benefits, the difference only for the AF part. Lite - 1st year charge AF, 2nd year free. Normal - 1st year free, 2nd year charge AF. and i Keep asking about the 1 swipe per month for AF waive, she also telling no such thing, this is only apply to Vox Card, but she said she can file report for waiver, but not guaranteed. Since i cannot waive the AF, i just pay it use until 2 years and cut.. feel so uncomfortable.. I hold this card not more than 6 months, not sure want cut immediately or not.

So for UOB YOLO, can you get waiver for AF or not? I just applied this card (still pending approval) after reading that it is possible to get a waiver if you swipe once every month (from the link at the front page).

But after reading a few recent posts here, it seems that the waiver is not guaranteed?

it was a new card, from Aug 2016. Belum kena renewal lagi. wait la.

Unless it is the case mentioned in the last few post, first year AF is waived. 2nd year, ???. To be fair, i'm not the type who minds, i will just cancel if they don't waive. I do not have loyalty towards banks.

yeah, if UOB kedekut for the waiver, I believe many card holder will cancel their Yolo card soon

Maybe you can share your April spending here for us to see? Just checking if you have checked your unbilled transactions for cash back? Just in case la.

Why u didn't ask them to refer to their tnc?

If you are not utilizing the cash backs from YOLO, then just cancel it as there are many other cards available.

last time when i ask CS about waiver of YOLO, the CS also say there is not such a waiver.

Luckily the CS willing to open the TnC on her side, she end up calling her manager to confirm about the waiver.

Many CS not well trained about product's TnC, especially for new product.
