any one facing issue to waive annual fee of UOB One Platinum?
Last year Oct 2016 they charge me annual fee,
but I over-looked and paid outstanding with the annual fee 

I think they going to charge me in Oct 2017, lol.
heard my fren said hard to waive, if yes, going to cancel it before they charge me. 

Huh really don't know got such thing? What mean lite platinum? For those not meeting min requirement? But I update them with my latest income documents which is annual income 60k.

Edit : Called CS, I never ask why I gotten Lite instead of normal platinum since my income far exceed the min requirement. I just ask the different of Lite & Normal Plat, no difference for benefits, the difference only for the AF part. Lite - 1st year charge AF, 2nd year free. Normal - 1st year free, 2nd year charge AF. and i Keep asking about the 1 swipe per month for AF waive, she also telling no such thing, this is only apply to Vox Card, but she said she can file report for waiver, but not guaranteed. Since i cannot waive the AF, i just pay it use until 2 years and cut.. feel so uncomfortable.. I hold this card not more than 6 months, not sure want cut immediately or not.

So YOLO is no longer a good choice to pay bills via Uobpayonline to get CB. Unless one has spending of more than rm800 of the CB categories. Haven't been using this card for the last 2 months. Currently only using PBB VS n QuantumMC for all online transactions.

My Yolo card cancel on 3rd Aug, today called me waived for 2 years annual fee.......

Mine on another hand told me, mine is auto-waived as I fulfilled one swipe per month...
Let's see how it goes.

UOB One Platinum. It was pretty lousy for this card. Making a fuss out of it. What's the point where they do not want to waive in the 1st place but when the cancellation team called, they waive for me. Since they give me 2 years of AF extension + some cash freebies, why not continue using it as my backup card.

i called up uob, the cs immediately said will waived for me, ask me to check again in 2 days to reflect it on the online statement

how come some auto waive some not, something wron. with system?

i throw the question to cs yolo not suppose to waive if swipe once every month, he just said that could be system issue and customer may call up to check

the CS said waived for me, just need 2 days to reflected to my account... somehow some other waived automatically
i fulfill the swipe once per month, but not my case no auto waive... 

btw, can we contact UOB to set temporary credit limit in provided period when we are oversea? like RM2000?

Previously, did you call UOB CS and directly request for annual fee waiver for UOB Yolo card? You did not mention anything on cancelling the Yolo card, right?
So, we have to wait, till the annual fee is stated in the transaction history of UOB Yolo card, before we can call UOB CS and directly request for annual fee waiver for UOB Yolo card.

It is a bit risky to wait till the annual fee is charged. We may need to call UOB CS numerous times to follow up on this issue, until UOB finally waive the annual fee. After that, UOB CS may say that everything is subject to UOB's management approval.

I request to cancel due to AF due soon, the retention dept call me back after 2 weeks.. they also loss as I’ve many online txn during that 2 weeks time.. I just feel that if they really need the sales n it is easy to get AF waiver, y don they put it as auto waiver after 12 swipes like what other banks did rather than loss the sales during the waiting period for them to waive.. they r not the big market player as compared to other bank credit card..
