for uob and pbb, "online" category is loosely based on online transactions with CNP (card-not-present). however, CIMB CR is more stricter, it must detect the online is also adhere to POSMODE 81 transaction type.

that's why the "range/coverage" of online transactions by CIMB CR is limited cuz some merchants didnt configure it properly.

the SMS OTP date/time is irrelevant, it just indicate a request is triggered by you.

for cb, the actual transaction date/time recorded in the system is the one to take note.

maxispay takes +2 days to be posted. you did on 10/4, it will get posted on 12/4, so tomorrow in UOB PIB you would see the maxispay transaction.

for unifi, depends on where you made the payment. usually +1 day after. if via uobpayonline, sometimes +2 days later.


if too kancheong, just call CS la. they can tell you exactly the transaction date/time for your unifi and maxispay.

next time, try not to do it TOO early or too exact at 12:00:00am your system time may not be same as bank's system time or merchant's system time.

even if everything resides locally in malaysia, there could be few minutes off across all parties (you vs merchant/payment gateway vs bank).

i always call bank directly to query the date, time, or MCC if i have doubt. they are checking directly from the system, so it's accurate.

usually year 1 is free.

if 2 years free, get black&white as proof. you wouldnt want to get shocked 2 years later kena hit by AF suddenly.

normal, more cards u keep, more commission they'll get. just cancel the unused card after gotten it.

just give CS a call to find out the MCC. that's the most accurate answer you can get.

cb credited this month is for last month's spending. it has nothing to do with your april's spending.

"online" is the mode of transaction, NOT the MCC for the transaction.

most cashback rules based on few logics:

1) mode of transaction
2) MCC
3) description

most of the eligible transactions under "Online" is because uob detected it as online/CNP and nothing further to filter.

for other instances, even if you pay TNB/TM at uobpayonline, it is detected as "online" but it also excluded them based on description too.

so far, uob havent excludedthose with "majlis *" descriptions, hence very likely your MBPJ @ uobpayonline already is under "Online" category.

just trust the documents from UOB. they are accoutable for it.

if you hold RP accountable, they'll just ignore/shrug it off. typo. incorrect info. etc etc

yep, revised liao. last copy was valid since Aug 2016, when YOLO was launched.

whenever the cb has an allocation and based on fcfs, you'd know already.

there are other sellers without charging convenience fee or even discount.

what bills u want to pay there?

what kind of "wrong calculation"?

1) you expect cb >RM20, but only gotten max RM20?
2) some transactions not counted for cb?

kindly elaborate more.
