Your anniversary month will be on August ??

Thanks for sharing, I going to do so as my anniversary month on next month September

By the way, I'm regular user for this card
*
Why wanna do this? It will be auto-waived since you fulfill the waiver criteria. It's stated in their page.

asked for reason to terminate: told him no use anymore.
offered me 1 yr extended AF waiver: told him agreed. next AF to be charged next year 2018. some short verification, then hanged up.
called me back again, reconfirm 2 yrs extended AF waiver: definitely agreed to accept  laugh.gif  next AF to be charged in year 2019.

Mine is next month but I won't do anything to it unless I'm being charged with AF, this is when I will argue back with them.

If stated in the TnC then no need argue, ask them to comply. Or else BNM then tongue.gif

Mean u swipes evey month since the card approved? If yes, then shouldn't be any problem for them to waive ur AF as per Tnc, but, if not every month, might need to go through the trouble to argue with them..

My YOLO annual fee will be charged in September. So I called in to CS on 11/8/17 to cancelled the YOLO card (I don't use this card every month), CS told me to wait for retention unit to call me within 5 working days. I waited and waited and waited. Lost hope. Suddenly, received call today saying my coming Annual fee is waived. So I will keep it for another 1 year. rclxms.gif

So, from 11 August 2017 to yesterday, was your Yolo card removed from the UOB Internet Banking website?

The annual fee waiver stated in http://www1.uob.com.my/personal/useful/fee..._annualfee.html consists of 2 sentences.

As we here know, there 2 sentences are not same.

Annual fee is waived upon (1) swipe per month at any amount (total twelve (12) swipes per year).

Suppose that I do not use Yolo card at all for the first 11 months, and I use the card for 12 times in the last month. The UOB officer in-charge may not grant me the annual fee waiver, because the officer may use only the first sentence as the basis of the waiver.

if like that, just cancel, since didnt use for 11 months, no rebate at all biggrin.gif why keep a cc that not benefit yourself lol

for yolo the benefit is CR each month, if no use for months, then might as well cancel, no need worry

Average Joes like me are not qualified for Public Bank Visa Signature Card. So, for me, Yolo card provides 6% online cashback, higher than 5% cashback offered by other cards, such as Public Bank Quantum Card and CIMB Cash Rebate Credit Card.

To get 6 % online cashback for Yolo card, I need to spend more than RM 800, but I myself do not have a lot of online spending. So, I overpay my telco bills and make huge online spendings in just a single month. In other words, I stack all of my online spendings meant for several months, in just one month.

My example of not using the Yolo card for 11 months is a bit extreme, but it is a way to get 6 % online cashback, for those who are not high income earners and do not have huge online spendings every month.

Based on your previous question, it's by calendar month. First until the last day of the month.
