i think the 8cm fan should be blowing inside rather than exhausting because the cpu fan is blowing inside the 8cm fan shouldn't be exhausting

Basicaly...it is tedious having loads of CDs in your car than having a loads off MP3s in your hdd...same goes for movies also... yet you can play games in your car rather then installing a PS in your car oso.... i was advice by Sniper on the roof to use trackball mouse rather then conventional mouse.... basicaly at least my GF can watch movies while in a jam.... less talking to my GF less fights we have...ehehehhe.  I'm planning to install a visor LCD screen so that my GF can watch it form her seat rather then watching through the center LCD...she did compalij bout neck pain... as for me having a playlist of my favourite songs in my car is good enough. The best part is surfing the net when i parked the car next to Starbucks SS15 wihtout having to step out of the car..just for a quick surf.

err... MP3 can store into thumbdrive or ext HDD and play at USB enabled Radio... sweat.gif but nevertheless... it's a great mod man...

If you look at his spec, its not worth stealing at all..can replace everything with stuff from LYN garage sales for a few hundred bux only..and you'll get a even better spec for that matter.. brows.gif

I'm curious, how you modify the power button thingy near your steering wheel? The sides are damn perfect, how did you do that?

Acttually the button was taken from an unused casing..the button fit nicely to the existing meter illumination controller mounting, plus the hole have been enlarge using a dremmel, all the power led and hdd led are positioned there also.

You can use inverter but make sure the wattage is bigger than your PSU. Price depend on the wattage and brand. This is not energy efficient IMHO.

OR

But M2ATX that cost around RM400. This piece of hardware can control intelligently the on/off of the carputer and can able to withstand the cranking of the engine. This is energy efficient since it doesn't convert any energy. The M3ATX is around the corner. For more info, type M2ATX and google away.

OR

Put a laptop and play with it for few month before investing it.

This carputer hobby is time-consuming, money-consuming and wife-consuming, it the end you will gain a car that talks back to you and left you with another car that are better looking than you. ':peace:' ':thumb:'

so with the M2ATX, all i have to do is make a direct connection from the battery to this power supply? nothing else will be used?
