QUOTE(guanteik @ Feb 1 2005, 01:25 AM) don't be so sure about the hinge won't cause any trouble for Acer. you never know your luck. anyway, my cousin bought an Acer 2 months ago, and the set was sent back to the shop for the second time. imagine that,my friend? You say it. It depends on how you take care of the unit. Also, this kind of stuff happened for other company like Toshiba, Fujitsu, IBM etc.but of course, it depends how well you take care of ur own unit QUOTE(D3vilsim @ Feb 1 2005, 10:34 AM) I think you are one of the bad staff that Acer have. Hahaha....or at least you're in the bad staff group... |

Hahaha....or at least you're in the bad staff group... As for the Acer staffs, he's just being honest. Unlike those "supportive" staffs working there, they have to support Acer as their daily meals depends on the sale. Oh yeah, normally staffs working inside the company management part will know more about their product quality. |

QUOTE(hsin @ Feb 2 2005, 06:49 PM) but i need the notebook for work too (occasionally)... it won't be compatible with microsoft words, excel and powerpoint right? thats about all i need.. I've opened word file and exel file with Apple Works before, which comes with the package. Power point I didn't try should work also. And of course I've already got the Office for Mac and it works fine.I got mine at rm3999, with a free Airport Express worth rm599. Strong battery life, manufacturer claimed 6hr. I've tested 4hr+, 1 cup of coffee not enough to last at starbucks. |
