if they offer free luggage allowance, of course i will check in
problem is not everything can be checked in, your camera, laptop are all fragile...if u check it in, u better prepare to buy a new one

If they allow two pieces within that strict size is fine

But 7kg weight combination is an absolute bummer

As long as passengers can lift the bag without assistance, the weight limit shall be omitted

Last was January.. Tbh, i had no worries between for trip between our land and semenanjung. Though i had no warrant for kk and kuching

Yeah, I agree, my last flight is from KUL-BKI with Malindo, beside 2 large luggage bags with totals 39 kilos, I have 1 hand medium carry bag into cabin, and also 1 big backpack inside got laptop, camera, tablet and other stuff. No issue extra charge at all and check in 2 hours earlier, also free enter lounge for breakfast.

My AA friend had a slipped disk because of this...

It isnt their job TBH unless it is a handicap etc.... Asians doesnt really care in general..

stewardess help is out of their kind heart only, they're not supposed to help u on your carry on anyway

Maybe they will follow Ryan air style. There are airline staff walking up and down the queue with these tools that look like clamps. If they see any bags that look like be oversize, they just put their tool over it. If cannot fit, then they get fined immediately.

I travelling tomorrow, plan to bring one cabin size luggage + laptop bag (backpack). I hope this rule haven't impose yet? Means as long as I keep my cabin luggage below 7kg I'm safe?

Actually what I mean is if my cabin size luggage is within the size limit and 7kg weight limit, is that ok or will they check my laptop bag (backpack) weight too? What I am afraid is the combine weight of my cabin size luggage and laptop bag sure exceed 7kg

I remember at Singapore airport, they will put your hand carry bag into a frame to ensure within max dimension, they will also weigh your hand carry bags............... It's time Bolehland learn something from others...........
