yeap. now AA gona profit boost. rake in all the backpackers/the retards who thinks they can abuse the system by forcing them to buy baggage add on and by december. or mid 2018. Headlines "AA successfully scams everyone into a record profit high"

Last week I ask the staff at AA check in counter about this. She said, passengers with overweight cabin bags cannot pay at departure gates but need to come out to the counter to pay. I doubt this is true because even AA website says , a standard fee of RM200 per bag will be charged at gate.

The old rule- 1 cabin size bag, not exceeding 7 kg plus 1 bag which can fit under the seat.

Cannot solely blame the passengers. AA equally at fault.

Rule was never enforced, with the exception of AA staff at Brunei airport.

The issue which needs fixing is lax enforcement.

Old rule is reasonable. No need to change.

normally they don't bother to check standard cabin baggage

but i think from now on they will start to check

many cabin baggage i think do not fit their requirements

dam tired when those passenger who go up to the plane last and find not more space for them to put their bag after those idiot put their "many" bags into the cabin storage.

Don't know if pay at gate, they issue receipts or not, if no receipt then sure the money goes into their own pocket. First I heard over the announcement at KLIA2 it was supposed to start on 15/3/17 but then a few days later, the annoucnement said effective 1/4/17.
