maybe i press too hard, i only can get 380km. 80-90% tank, Full tank use until the last box

Thats why want to find any local 2nd hand avanza or total lost avanza that the engine still good, since it is total lost, i think so the price should be less than 10k, somemore the engine is original from avanza, no need so worry oh

* From year 2016 until now, almost all engine oil is fully synthetic
* Before year 2017 (before the price getting exp), almost all ron97 petrol

NA engine or course no power la! even you put 2.0L also under powered in an advanza. That's why I change whole engine to turbocharged one! Liqui Moly is a good motor oil, I use for all my gasoline & diesel engines, K3-VET is a turbo engine usually comes from half cut car imported from japan, to install in a avanza is not an issue, just take the engine, wiring and ecu and transplant in advanza, mine advanza is manual version & secondhand 12 years car brought from friend cash RM20K, install front custom intercooler, upgrade the stock turbo to TD05 and set the boost up to 1.4 bar, at dyno reading, 210 Nm torque quite satisfied, I pump shell/ petron Ron95, no power loss or engine knock issue, super easily to overtake any car even in uphill, K3-VET engine give me satisfied performance in my advanza while good fuel economy. The costs for an upgrade around RM10-11K included puspakom and JPJ endorsement.

All my vehicles included kancil, avanza and others must have turbo, no turbo = no drive, underpowered and fuel guzzler because need pedal to max all time to achieve power, especially starting and hill climb. My spring is standard, but change aftermarket shock, here in Sabah lowered vehicle not suit my daily use, BTW, this MPV only can seat up max 4 passengers include driver, the rear end I use to transports goods and documents.

im using kyb rs ultra silver colour one, feel its stiff when only me driving, if full load then its ok.

Sabah price ? or maybe KL here they charge too much, I change back to same type of engine include other costing also charge me almost rm12k (last year).

Ya, Liqui Moly is a good motor oil but for me no different. Ron95 vs Ron 97, Ron95 i can feel power. Semi Syn vs Fully Syn, the feeling is totally same. Not like last time my original engine I use fully syn + ron97 can easily press the pedal to achieve 140kmh with low engine sound.

Price range in Sabah just a bit expensive for the parts and k3-vet engine costs, but a bit cheaper in labour costs, so over all price gap just minimal. I use semi syn liqui moly and next oil change for every 10k kilometer, I use petron Ron95 and no feel power loss because my k3-vet just upgraded bigger TD05 turbo boost at 1.4 bar. Ron97 just bit better in acceleration and smooth engine sound, other benefit is cleaner euro 4m but hell expensive in selling price. Performance is huge between stock engine. No complain & just statisfied for this upgrade.

Power is never enough but paired with the bad Klang Valley roads and the 'superb' ride and handling of my Avanza, I doubt I can go very faster than what I can do now. Afraid that by just going through one bump, I will already be offroad

My front shocks KO, used about 40k km in KL potholes road. Lets see how much price went up. Any other recommendation for shocks?

Front brake pads, don't use bosch, noisy when dusty. Suggest use back original.

I change original from Toyota SC and outside workshop so called original also noisy. After that I change to brembo brand. I use for 12 months only (includes up down Genting 3 times & KL - Johor every months). No money buy full brembo kit, only can use brembo brand normal brake pads

Last week I go ask the price and check remaining usage, but I forgot the price, the price is rm20+- with normal brand. My brakepad can tahan until CNY 2019. Made by Brembo but not performance brake pad. Overall feel good, especially I try go downhill, the brake grip very nice and not easily hot.

Previously I try the Toyota ori and OEM ori easily get over heat.
Scenario : Drive 130-145km/h from Sungai Besi to Malacca, if you perform heavy brake more than 3 times (estimate), become overheat already then only can feel like 40% grip, like you press the brake till the end but the car still moving. Especially those car like to suddenly come out from 2nd lane. If drive in city, jam in KL, the brake pad very noisy.

No, first gen model 2007, cheapest model with K3-VE NA engine + 1.3L manual transmission version, brought second hand from friend very cheap (engine kong), just transplant 1.3L K3-VET turbocharged engine. Just wanna a turbocharged MPV base on RWD drive train while low cost ownership + modification. Buy brand new advanza not available any version comes with turbocharged engine from factory, BTW NA 1.5L too under powered. maybe my demand torque a little bit high, because all way long "biasa" drive hilux vnt, ranger 2.2L & hino300, all had upgraded with unichip.

Hi guys. I am using Avanza 2011. New to this thread. 2 of my air-conditioning vents at the rear the clip has broken so the vents fall out of the blower. I noticed Lazada sells the vent. Is it easy to DIY to install them?
