By any chance you put them in air con room? Cause seller has agreed to look into it so I will be sending the cameras back. Now I turn them back on cause I want to clock in how long it takes for the cameras to start burning and now they're not! Bloody cameras zheng gu me like this. Now it's more like lukewarm heat. Just a bit hotter than the dafang but not as hot as how I remembered it the first few times. Now im not sure if I should send back because they've already mentioned it will be hot.

i hardly use my xiaofang so i will check how hot is mine
i just turned mine on like half an hour ago. xiaofang body is very slightly warm
where did you feel the heat coming from?
i will leave mine on overnight to test further

left top and right. basically all around.
i tested mine for almost 11 to 12 hours just now. it's warm, a bit warmer than dafang.
anyway, i chose to keep it since now the warmth is the kind i can close one eye with.

No chance, 5ghz has different modulation and band, higher frequency used than normal wifi.

Option to buy a repeater that will repeat signal with sual band.

Has anyone upgraded to the latest firmware version 3.3.3.25?

latest firmware may have region block. new batch of cam have region block. there are some seller from 11street advise not to upgrade firmware.

basically if the MAC address is

34:xx:xx:Dx:xx:xx - it will have region lock in place

34:xx:xx:Fx:xx:xx - this is ok.....

base on my observation.

And also MAC address starting with 34:.....cannot be hacked.
I tried many times.Do not if anyone successfully hacked it.

Did you encounter any problem on using an sd card? I can't use an sd card after the upgrade. it's saying I need to format it but when I format it, is says operation failed.

i dont know my MAC but after few times trying to reconnect, i got a solution
i clear cache on the app, then i reconnect by entering the wifi password manually

Any one having issue with xiaofang goes off line without any apparent reason?
I must off and on again in order to get it online again.
Happens to 2 xiaofang cameras.
