The installation required outdoor because it's too far to do plug point at the parking lot

So need poe switch , the poe to usb micro splitter and cat 6 amp :-)

Very nice, i didn't know you could use poe adaptor with the xiaomi cameras. At least now I know don't need to use extended usb cable or add another wall outlet if camera is too far away.

Is that housing specifically for xiaofang only?

Yes specifically for xiaofang

It just my rnd i didn’t know also but it works well , the poe splitter is for rasberry and the poe switch is from escam did try the mikrotik poe switch rb750up but it can’t make it works

The latest updates allows you choose time based or motion detection video to be saved in SD card. It can also record into SD card without WiFi.
The motion alarm frequency ( record to the cloud) can now be adjusted in 4 intervals i.e. 1, 5, 10 or 30 minutes.

With all the complains of the current users here, I doubt this is a good choice even with a good price. Bugs, unable to detect WIFI, keep restarting etc etc..
Is this camera that bad?

Gone from good to bad to worse now.

It was a really really good cam at RM70. Absolutely no doubt.
