Thinking of 3k rig only, with latest GPU (if possible) and i5 processor

Is it possible? or do i need to increase the budget?
Purpose : gaming (hots and hs) and minor video editing

Hi guys, I have only 2k budget for new PC.

Just need CPU only, monitor, mouse and keyboard no need.

Use for casual gaming like paladins, minor video editing, minor photo editing and office works.

3gb vram will hold u back for 1080p gaming if playing those consume more than 3gb VRAM aaa titles. If possible, top up some to 6gb is better.

lol, if u topup rm200-300 to higher version everytime u will topup to gtx1080 no?

i3 is faster than A10 7890K, no point getting the old CPU when you aren't re-using a FM2+ mobo.

But i received reply from Petang makan maggi
" GTX970 not exactly having much more RAM than 3GB 1060, it is 3.5GB vs 3GB.",
but I didnt suggest Micromatx with any GTX1060 3gb or GTX970 4gb which actually is 3.5GBvram.

i m replied with

I tried to get u clear with what's Queastion & Reply did in here.

I'm know i'm rude that i grab the question which should TristanX reply, because he is the one who suggest Micromatx full rig.

If need blamed, its not your turn, its should by TristanX. But at the end, is it any problem related with you?

Agreed that 3gb or 6gb is depends of needs, determine is just not the budget, maybe other situation as well.
But this is not any kopitiam's "topup a bit" style, is it a RM200~300 called a bit, different ppl different view.

What i had replied, is try point out 3gb vram may not enough of some title today's gaming and future, "if possiible", top up some to 6gb vram is better.
If impossible due to budget not enough, or useless for him, or whatever, than just go with 3gb vram as he planned. Am i clear with my statement?

P/S:
Just only try remind Micromatx who asked, and make a reply, Dunno why ppl will weird reply as " ntg different too much of 3.5 vs 3gb" either " top up rm 200-300 to 6gb ver will top up gtx1080" as its seems like i doing wrong....

not only nvidia, current amd as well, RM200 for a 4gb to 8 gb, and RM100 for a 5% perfromance from rx470 to 480. RM100-200 for 5% from rx480 to rx580. N
Vidia no end of few hundred till gtx 1080ti, amd will too when release radeon pro ( dual polaris) and vega as well, current ati only got rx580 polaris as highest XD

As a consumer who willing for better value gpu, its justa bad news.

Anyway, RM3.6k 1080ti r hot sales in us... we feel bad just because our currecny and country financial... u know lah @@

I am just on the planning stage for my desktop setup from scratch. (require an estimate budget)
Mainly will use for gaming, web browsing, and little bit of video editing/ photoshop.

As for gaming, I will mainly use it on online game and some AAA title with max setting. Monitor wise, the monitor I am looking for 4k g-synch hdr monitor which I don't think available in market as of now.
