is this build worth it?
*
Seem to looks good.
PSU is actually not bad as its in A tier list

They cheapen out on a budget AIO & NVME SSD.

But the AIO TDP spec at 350W altho from review of 13700K with 360AIO will likely hit 90-100C nearly thermal throttle
https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/intel...k_review,6.html

For such an expensive system, the SSD is lowest of budget segments and altho its supposedly Gen4 but its speed does not even exceed Gen3. For such a price I'd expecting one with 7000-8000 Mbps speeds. If you build a similar system urself you'd probably can get that as prebuilds such as above usually have hidden cost.

Thanks for all the input sifus...
how about this one ya?

INTEL CORE i7 13700F 2.1GHZ 30M (16C/24T) LGA1700
MSI B760-P WIFI PRO SERIES D4 (ATX) - LGA1700
CORSAIR VENGEANCE PRO RS RGB DDR4 2X8GB 3600 (BLACK)
KINGSTON 1000G NV2 1TB M.2 NVME GEN4x4
ZOTAC NVIDIA GEFORCE - RTX4070TI 12GB DDR6 TRINITY OC
CORSAIR GAMING CASE - OBSIDIAN SERIES 4000D AIRFLOW (MIDTOWER-ATX) BLACK EDITION
FSP HYDRO G PRO ATX 3.0 (PCIE5.0) 1000W 80+ GOLD FULL MODULAR
CORSAIR AIO COOLER - H100 RGB 240L BLACK EDITION  rm 8900
*
Not bad. Basically like an updated RPL version of my ADL rig that I built late last year, with more bling parts.

Still with the poor NVME SSD?

The PSU is okay but do you really need until 1000W? If you drop down to 850W you can put that extra money and get better SSD; WD Black, Crucial P5Plus, Kingston KC3000

Can u oso add on 1 more intake fan; make it 3 in and 3 out? Ideally you want to have balanced or positive pressure inside ur case.

The Deepcool DA500 is essentially a low quality, group regulated (which is not suitable for anything with a high powered dGPU) unit so it's really not much better than the 1st Player icon_idea.gif
*
Indeed but at the requester price point constraint, that is pretty much what to expect. At least it got a review and it was judged favourably. Better than that 1st Player.
Plus an RTX 3050 isnt that demanding.

Correct, but there's still no point for a group regulated unit for anything with a decent dGPU:
https://linustechtips.com/topic/1122694-why...in-2019-and-on/

Not to mention that a decent DC-DC unit isn't that much more expensive than a group regulated unit as well icon_idea.gif
*
3050 isn't decent, its piss poor for an RTX class. But it works as a low end GPU and thus it really don't need a better performing PSU.

For a decent DCDC with single rail, 80+ bronze, from a known decent brand would be this at RM50 over his budget
https://shopee.com.my/-FSP-HV-PRO-550W-650W...b4-4381da6ca6a0

Its not that I don't agree with you for OP to get a decent DCDC one, I fully agree, but some folks work on a hard budget (especially budget builds) and that RM 50 extra could be a dealbreaker if money could not be saved elsewhere to put into PSU. I know this myself to balance a hard budget build isn't easy, but I somehow managed to get a decent PSU at the budget I could stomach.

That particular GPU ady eaten HALF of ur upper budget, how much more left to build ur system is difficult unless ur willing to drop down a generation ie 12th Gen +B660 + DDR4 + Gen3 NVME.

Then again, Nvidia kakis here will tell you that people who buys Tuf or Strix has more money than brains.... whistling.gif

You can take that build, replace the i5 with i7 13700 nonK, ditched the RX6800 & replace with ur 3070Ti. Mind you this is a DDR4 system so if you want DDR5, top up about Rm 500-700 more as you will want to get 6000MHZ RAMs to get a speed advantage over DDR4.

tried my luck in psu tered but it seems dead.
Not sure what budget should i expecting? 300-400?
About the tiering for PSU is for safety feature? I can see price ranging from 2xx - 6xx . .

thanks for the brand
not really know to read, example if cougar GX-F 750 its tier a? i saw a bracket write aurum i not sure is it a specific model? this cost near 400 in shopee with 7 years warranty..aww
Is this tier B? i did consider this before but sometimes those seller tell me no stock. .

Silverstone | Decathlon Gold [DA-G] 550/650W [5] – Strider Gold S (V1/V2) / Titanium <=800W / Platinum PTS / Plus F-PS – SX-G 500/650/700W – SX-PT 700W – Essential Gold ET-G / ET-HG – SX-LG – SX-LTI – VIVA Gold
*
That Cougar PSU would appear to be in Tier A. But what's off putting is that for this amount of money paid, you will get Teapo caps and for an 750W fully modular PSU you only get 1 EPS CPU power connector which imho is totally unacceptable as its meant for high power usage (the likely mobo usage will have extra 4pin/8pin EPS power).

In that case the recommended Viva Gold is more robust for use as it has dual 8pin EPS, fanless mode, has 4 PCIE connectors for high powered GPUS.

But if you do have specific questions relating to a particular PSU, I think you can put back to PSU tered and the kakis there will layan you then. General ambiguous questions I think they wont laa.

Among the 2 you will take cougar? The diff less than 50 so i can still manage..
The amount for cougar gx-f 750w it's around 390-400, viva gold its around 350

Oh, viva have 4+4 x 2 in 1 cable. .

And
https://www.silverstonetek.com/upload/image...g/va750-g-9.jpg

I think PSU folks not active..
*
I think you could try to PM 'chocobo7779' if you have specific PSU questions as he is PSU expert, imho talking about a specific part here for too long is a disservice to those who got rig build questions.

Hi bro. Please critique my proposed build.

Intel 13 12400f
Msi pro z690 a ddr5 / asrock z690 pg riptide d5 / asus prime z690a
Kingston fury dd5 4800
Asus 1060 rog strix 6gb ( reuse)
Thermal take smartrgb 700w (reuse)
Pny m.2 500gb.

Feel free to give recomendation. Budget around 2k
*
If ur on such a low budget, go for B660 mobo and DDR4 3200/3600. That DDR5 4800 actual performance is only at DDR4 3200 level but they cost far more.
That money save should go to replace ur PSU as well, iinm that is a Tier E or F unit.

Tight budget? Get B660M (microatx) - MSI Pro B660M-A (make sure A variant!) or Asrock B660M PG Riptide (has BCLK OC for ADL gen CPU)

Want ATX? Get Gigabyte B660 Gaming X (the one with 4 RAM slots)

Swap board to the ASRock B650M PG Riptide for RM300 less - Hardware Unboxed did a test on the board and it is one of the best value AM5 boards in terms of VRM:

That being said though I think a 13600K might be a better pick IMHO icon_idea.gif
*
But then according to that HUB, better to wait for Giga B650 DS3H as it will be even cheaper and yet better value. icon_idea.gif

That still depends whether distributor wants to bring them here so the ASRock is probably the best one out there at this price bracket icon_idea.gif

Haha atm ur right. But DS3H line is very popular being Gigas basic mobo family so sooner than later it will come nod.gif

Well time to get one from US retailers brows.gif
But seriously neither RTX40/RX7000 cards are decent value anyway (they are grossly overpriced even considering US prices) sweat.gif
*
It is what it is. Only RTX 4090 is worth its gold coins. Others in 40 series are regressing tech with specs lesser than their predecessor, only counting on DLSS3 fake frames and cranked up core speeds. Radeons even worse as it gave up chasing, has half hearted RT HW, and just not value for money here.

My advice to new buyers is to either get previous gen RTX 30series/RX6000 at a bargain now and hold off upgrading for at least 2 gens, til Nvidia/AMD come to their senses. Hopefully.

PS. Buying US? Errr if you dont mind not having warranty... sweat.gif

[Monitor resolution] FHD (1920 x 1080 60 Hz) IPS, already having it now. I noticed the refresh rate is on the low side..

[Games & softwares that use frequently] Virtualization software, PUBG, Valorant

[Personal preferences]16GB RAM, RTX 3060 (or any better recommendation)

You can consider to spec in similar to mine RM 5k PC ( https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/5339043 ) But that includes monitor so omitting that cost, and many of the other part prices had since came down, you can put the money into a 512GB SSD and a decent 5/6 heatpipe tower cooler.
