may i ask..anyone here using z610 with crystal casing?can crystal casing scratch the phone when u take it out or put it in? and how long can the batt last if i listen to like...lets say 1.5 to 2 hrs a day? I very seldom use phone for calls.mainly sms and cam sometimes..

erm, the seller jz gave me the price of ap set with 512, rm1000. then i request for a 1gb m2, so add rm50 on it, rm1050.. if not mistaken, the price for the phone only is about rm800++ lor, coz 1gb m2 cost about 180-200, the seller said.

if i not mistaken....ap can get around 800...means that 1gb for 250?it is freaking expensive..u can get cheaper m2 card in garage...by the way..do u survey 1st b4 u bought the phone?

i waqs once told that u might scratch ur fon if u use cystal casing, but personally, i think its ok. im currently using 1 now, wat ever u do dont open n close too often, if not it will definitely scratch ur fon. good lck!

as i know 512mb M2 is about rm130 at penang...
so if your phone is rm800 , plus the rm130, then it should be rm930...
but it is ok , since you have bought it...

Hmm...so do I need to take out the sim card and battery and then replace the battery before plugging the usb to the pc? I read the instructions on SE site and I followed that but I can't seem to upgrade. I tried twice already. Am i the only one who couldn't upgrade?


Garage? Where? I'm thinking of buying a 512mb M2 card. I think I don't need 1Gb...but I heard M2 cards are expensive that's why decided to take only 512mb.

got my sandisk 1 gb m2 @ rm145@ garage sales. Filled it once to near 900mb so i think its genuine. Comes with pro duo adapter, has sandisk hologram sticker on box, and the warranty sticker from Photo Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd.

And I have a question. Can I use the m2 memory to store saved messages and inbox instead of phone memory? Cant find the setting on the phone nor instructions in the manual.

No you don't have to remove the SIM card.

Just remove the battery and put it back into the phone.

Thereafter, insert one end of your USB cable into your PC, and another end into your phone while at the same time pressing on the 'C' button until SEUS recognizes your phone.

Then you can release the 'C' button and let the update run by itself.

yeah, the sandisk m2 1gb lowest i saw in garage sales is rm13x while sony m2 1gb lowest rm149. Both claim to be genuine.

-the clear plastic holding the memory card in place inside the box is slightly longer than the closed length of the box. Thus, when the packaging is closed, some length (<0.5cm)of the clear plastic is jutting out.
-User guide does not state "Sandisk m2", only "Flash Memory Card User Guide". This is consistant with the pictures of fake MSPD user guide (NOT M2) in one of ly.net threads and also on guides on internet.

I would say that 75% chance my M2 is genuine. But im not too worried since I can find the seller if it phails. Also I bought a mmc mobile from him last year and zero problems since.

Some say the m2 is still not ciplak-able. But i have read somewhere in ly.net that the previous pc fair m2 can be found for ard rm130.

ciplak m2 may not be filled to its advertised capacity, the writing process would just hang after reaching a lower capacity. But providing that if the time comes and these cards do phail, hope the sellers are still around with their 5 year limited warranty promises.

like bao wen said before, if your comp/seus failed to detect the phone. uninstall seus first. then go to device manager, look for all SE usb driver there (shud be around 6 drivers), uninstall the drivers too.

restart comp. plug in the phone. select phone mode, let it re-detect, and install all the driver there. remove cable. plug in again, select transfer mode this time, let it detect automatically, and re-install all the driver again.

finally, restart comp, install seus, do as the instruction, it will detect the phone as new driver again (or maybe not), if so reinstall all the driver prompted, then seus shud be able to detect the phone now.

some sort of uninstall and reinstall will solve the driver conflict, that cause ur phone undetectable by seus.

uhm...so does the usb drivers in device manager state clearly it's SE usb drivers?? Coz there're 6 usb drivers there but none with SE label so I don't dare to delete those too.

you have to plug in your phone first. see both in phone mode and transfer mode. before deletion, you can see if the driver is appropriately installed or not. if the driver is not installed, install it then (search via Internet works). that might solve the SEUS not detecting anything.
