Ron 97 up 9 cents !! 🤯

Still has a 24 sen subsidy though lol! RON95 subsidy is a crazy RM1.10 - hope the government has funds to sustain this.

RON97 can sell for RM5 per liter, it does not effect my pocket.

Also, keep up.the good.work, much appreciated. 👍

Thanks! I actually accidentally fueled up with RON97 yesterday - I have not fueled up since 1.5 months ago, I totally forgot that green pumps are RON97 and it was a still dark 6:30am at the station. I got a shock of my life when fuelling up cost me RM120 lol!

I believe they will start discussing now on to reduce the subsidy for petrol. But since the gomen also not so stable, plus potential next PRU, they will have no ball to done it

Calculation and table of estimated prices can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN. No guarantees any of the estimates will be correct as the government has been subsidizing the fuel price - even RON97! The good news is that RON95/Diesel has hit the ceiling and will continue on to be RM2.05 & RM2.15 respectively for the foreseeable future.

If calculating 8/2 to 14/2 cycle (Tuesday to Monday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM3.24 and RM3.54 respectively (±1 sen).

Thus, I estimate that RON97 would go up by 9 sen from last week to RM3.30 (±1 sen).

Note: RON95 will be capped at RM2.05/l & Diesel at RM2.15/l source

If calculating 15/2 to 21/2 cycle (Tuesday to Monday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM3.26 and RM3.56 respectively (±1 sen).

Thus, I estimate that RON97 would go up by 5 sen from last week to RM3.32 (±1 sen).

Still early days, but definitely using more fuel than my FC lol
Honda Civic FC 2016 - https://www.fuelly.com/car/honda/civic/2016/isr25/440730
Honda Civic FE 2022 - https://www.fuelly.com/car/honda/civic/2022/isr25/1124462

But, unsure if it's because of car, or because of fuel brand - previously using Shell, but this round using Petronas.

Definitely more power though, I really have to more gently toe my accelerator pedal to hypermile the car compared to the FC.

Congrats on the new car. I suspect the car consumes more fuel cuz turbo, not reslly the fuel brand difference.

Full Tank for Shell V-Power - which is RON97 - is already RM200 for most cars.
