BelleG Sugar Glider Sales Thread

There she posted 2 male and a female for sale. I was interested for a female as a partner for my current sugar glider who is lonely.

We COD on 24 Feb 2007 (Saturday).

Why I didn't check the sugar glider sex before paying her?
1. The COD took place inside her car with a dog. I was afraid that the dog might eat the SG up since I have just recently heard horror story of a cat eating such an expensive delicacy (the sugar glider) from carsonel
2. The SG was crabbing away and BelleG asked me to becareful in case the SG flys off.
3. So I asked if BelleG can take it out for me... but she can't. (namely judging her actions indicated she lacked of experience in handling SG)


So that night when I finally manage to tame the Sugar Glider and noticed there is a ball instead of a pouch. Thus I called BelleG regarding this and she got someone to talked to me saying that the SG is a female as the anus and the vagina are close together. So I went over to my neighbour who is a vet to confirm it. Then I told BelleG the confirmation it's a male and asked to arrange the exchange. She said Sun she isn't available thus only Mon she would COD and WILL CALL TO ARRANGE THE TIME AND VENUE.

However Mon passed by still no news. I called her on Mon 6pm once and around 10pm once. Then on Tues on 10am a few times till I literally got fed up of calling an unanswered phone.

Thus I PMed her...asking her why she didn't pick up the phone. And she asked me back "Got my PM?"

Then I told her my mailbox is empty and there is no PM.

She answer

I sensed something amiss. How could she ask someone to collect a pet which is not even weaned from the mother? Furthermore she already promised me a female glider. I don't mind paying extra to get another glider from her as I want to keep the male as well.

Omg. That means cheating right?

Such an irresponsible seller, and for the baby SG issue, wth.

And she should have contact you when she misses your calls.

You did the right thing protecting the glider from the dog. About the 2 1/2 weeks old baby, comon! She's still clinging on her mother's back and depend on the mother, separating them means killing the baby.

PM her to come and explain why she gave you a male instead of female.

Also this new male baby joey has already developed a bald spot. The vet told me it's not a normal male bald spot but a wound there.

Very irresponsible indeed.... when I read that wanna sell a 2.5 week old... come on lah... that is so crazy.... 2.5 week still needs milk and mom... there is no suitable substitute milk formula for gliders in our market, I don't think a joey that young could even consume the glider food I mix....

I think this seller just wanna do business... sell so many animals online, should see the postings and ads in different forums and calssifieds... but this glider case has gone a bit too far.

Hope the seller comes here to explain, if not, then she is very irresponsible.

Funny seller ; here is my minor case~

I pmed her that I was interested in getting 1 female glider~ So we agreed to COD after Valentine's Day~ Initially the COD venue was KLCC ; which later changed to Setiawangsa via Putra line, fine by me since I told her I could COD even if its 7-10pm~

We pretty much agreed on the venue and time through MSN, where she gave me her hp number too ; I also understood from her that she reared dogs while her bf manages all the gliders...

That day came, I pmed her, sms her, tried calling her ; yet the hp was dead~
thinking it was her initial excuse as of that day she was busy with lectures in college ; fine, so I tried calling her after 6pm ; I kept trying until 10pm, then and there I gave up~

Feeling ignored as a customer ; I posted aminor complain in her thread~

The next day I got my glider from cerz instead ; then she informed me that her hp was lost... I thought I over-reacted so I told her I already got my glider and asked her to sell the glider to hamser9 who was also looking for a female~

then everything was all good, until hamster9 told me that Belle sold her a male

But the one thing that got me suspicious is why did she give me her hp number that was lost and now she was trying to sell it off... hmmm...

This Q remains, did she really lose her hp? or was she dodging me? *though its unlikely*

But Belle has acted in a very inconsistant way ; and inconsistancy in trade is a very negative element...

plz give us a black and white explaination ; adding to that why would you even sell a 2 weeks + glider baby? That's murderous... Unless that is your bf's approach then I have no comments...

Lets try and resolve this in a peaceful manner alrite...

In advance i alr told her d SG belongs to my BF...
When i COD wit her tat time, my bf was not in d country n do tell her tat SG is best collect 3 1/2 mths or earliest 3 mths.....
He leave d SGs wit me cos there's alr 2 ppl booked d SG....
He told me there 2 female n 1 male

I even told her tat everytime my bf bring d SG to my house d SG dun really like d smells of dog, tat's why i didnt take out d SG when we COD.

When she call me on tat nite, tat i given her a male SG, i realize tat i caught d wrong SG to her.... so, i told her tat we'll meet to exchange bck d SG

Then we make a deal to meet up next week, means early of march cos i was not in town on tat weekend due to some chinese ceremony for
Chinese New Year...
I came bck on Mon Nite, n was pretty bz wit my classes cos preparing for d wrapping up on d assignments' vidoe n papers....

I hv no choice but to put my phone on vibrate during class, tat's why i missed her calls.... I do admit to her it's my mistake cos i didn't return her 2 missed calls.

Later, i went bck to my bf n check bout d other 2 sg which available, he told me d DOB is on on 21 Dec, so i realized tat it's too young to passed d female to her tat's why i pm her n told her tat it's too young to collect now n ask her to wait for another 2 weeks or she still want to collect now, but she straight away jump into conclusion tat i cheat her,

Indeed i told her, if i really wanna cheat her, i dun even hv to contact her bck regarding d female SG.

I alr told carsonel tat i loose my mobile on tat day, tat;s why when i meet hamster( i was u sing my old samsung, instead of my lost DOPOD....
D number tat i gave to carsonel is still active cos tat's my permanent number....
d 019 number i use is our house mobile .... we used tat to make oversea calls to Singapore n tahiland n we used tat as a house number among my housemate.....

I jz know that female SG got pouch.. last time my gf also wan to buy it cos they look cute

I'm trying to keep one pair myself.....
Got infected by my BF, he luv his 5pairs of SG more than me.....
He 1st started wit 1 pair, then buy another pair, after tat he got 2 pairs from his frens which abandoned their SG after get bored wit them....

So which is which now... 1 female and 2 males or 2 female and 1 male? According to your sales thread it's 1 female and 2 males...but the above says 2 female and 1 male



My conclusion towards this quote is you don't even bother what you are selling

What I understand from your PM is the female is 2 1/2 week which means about half month old. Which means I have to wait another 2 months more the minimum. I've did some research and found out that SG are best taken at 3 months old. Now I suspect the SG u sold me is underaged as he needs to be "hug" most of the time due to feeling insecure. It doesn't indicate that I have to wait 2 more weeks.

U did not contact me back until I PM you. What are u going to say now? No credit to return my call?

Yah... I agree.... if the SG is scared of dogs, the seller should never have brought a dog along. For me, I sold 2 gliders before and I always show the seller that the glider is what sex.... even show them and also handle a bit.

Namely I suspect that she couldn't or haven't handle a SG before. Judging from the way she handles the joey.

Wat do u mean by d SG is Under aged? It's alr 13 weeks ++, evryone know tat whenu 1st take d SG bck home, u need to let them get used to d new environment.... normally u hv 2 leave a "baju" tat u wear b4 n d cage so tat they get used to u. IF u juz wan a reason to pin point me, juz directly say it, n dun simply accused ppl.
I do hv d record ur missed call in my phone, n i list it based on d record.....

then later qfter tat u call me u wanna collect 7pm....

U can say anything but dun simply accused ppl based on ur own assumption without clarifying 1st, cos i do respect u either as a customer or as a fren......

THE MAIN POINT IS

The seller promised a female sugar glider. But she gives a male sugar glider. If a newbie doesn't know anything about sugar glider, she could get away for months before the glider reaches puberty.

Then if she promised a female SG she ought to deliver a female SG. Yet after several attempts to call,

Monday 26 feb 2007 = twice

Tues 27 Feb 2007 = 5 times (around 10.30am till 12pm)

and the seller did not pick up. PM? There is no PM. So do you want to blame the LYN server for not delivering your PM?


Th best part the seller comes back and tell me the female is not ready?! Then why promise a female SG instead?

Conclusion: I do not want to exchange back as per conversation but to get another female SG and take it as a pair. So even if u were to take the wrong SG, you could have easily pass me the female SG without any hassle of waiting. My next fortune telling skills magic tells me that you already sold the SG as an excuse

I do not want to exchange the glider as I want to keep this baby joey. Judging from the condition, he is skinny and insecure. And also there's an wound on his forehead. If it were to be back to BelleG hands, I bet it couldn't make it.

My next Course of Action: Basically none. Except to tell everybody that BelleG cannot be trusted as a responsible pet seller. I would in fact want to vote her to have a dispute tag.

Bear in mind tat this section is for forummer to resolved in peace n not screaming n yelling will all those sacarstic attitude....


I do not know how many times i hv 2 repeat tat i'm not d owner of d SG, it belongs to my bf, so after i double confirm wit him d age of d joeys in d 2nd litter, he says it's not suitable to take home yet.... so, when d joeys is not ready wat can we do?

Since u r so not satisfied wit d SG wit all d so call FAKE complain tat u hv bout d wound on d forehead, skinny, this and tat..... B'cos i know for sure there's no wound on d forehead when i pass d SG to u.... There's no point arguing on these things cos there's no prove whether u or me who caused d wound on d fore head... so why pointing fingers to other only afer a week keeping d SG, if itreally exist u alr complain in d 1st place, why wait till now...I insist tat u return bck d SG n i'll refund u....

If ur fortune telling skills is so good/"accurate", u should hv predicted this to happened... why u proceed wit this deal n then trying to make other ppl's life miserable wit all d sacarstic word.....

Customers satisfaction is always our priority, since u r so not happy dun force urself 2 keep d SG,' we can managed to take care it ourself. I rather to take it bck rather than "forced" u to keep d SG, i prefer to deal wit someone tat is happy n satisfied wit my joeys..... we dun mind keeping another joey since we alr hv 10 SG

No point explaining or arguing juz to clarify to d public cos d most important thing is tat Gods knows better on wat d real facts is. Wat d point on keep on arguing n saying others r wrong when d actualy facts is not, d most important thing is tat d GODS knows, it's alr enough. Wat other ppl think is not important, wat we think of ourself is d most important. For those ppl who had deal wit me knows better......

So juz return d SG n take ur refund.

I didn't see you apologize and admit the mistake for giving the wrong glider to hamster9.

All I see is you insist her to return the male glider to you, that's not the solution hamster9 propose.
