QUOTE(sgpdsmss @ Feb 19 2017, 07:24 PM) May I know what APK you using for movie ? Big business yes... Free either leach from others or use free serversBuffering I referring to APK server... not that ISP.. Each APK have their own server right ? Simple and user friendly only suitable for parents... Buffering means you're not getting data fast enough...can be a lot of reasons. I have written a few lines on pg1 You do what you have to do This post has been edited by dwRK: Feb 20 2017, 03:50 PM |

Given how the bigger brother Android is ballooning out of control, I'm glad Google decided to place a tight leash on the Android TV OS. However, it isn't maturing at the pace it should be. Guess there isn't enough market share to make it worthwhile to most manufacturers and app developers. For now, it's alright.. Just expected more from it at this stage.

Also same AndroidTV in Nexus Player and Mibox International edition, I have been on android tv platform for sometime now really hopefully more apps will come soon. I actually find it very good, very handy. Can stick in almost all popular apps... kodi, popcorn, mobdro, iflix, china apps... Plus youtube 4k, netflix 4k, aljazeera hd, bloomberg hd, skynews hd... Voice search feature for some apps. From my experience alot of apps that I sideloaded could run and it's basically the same with normal android in tv box, |

QUOTE(dwRK @ Feb 22 2017, 09:11 AM) Google has this Android TV Launcher on play store... It won't show up using your normal android phone/box...i think you can force it to show but I lazy to try. I think it also won't push Android TV apps unless you spoof the box. Even with spoofing, having the launcher apk alone will not an Android TV OS make.. Only a proper port can achieve that. As there are other system level apks required for a quasi-experience and apps installation. From apkmirror... This post has been edited by voncrane: Feb 22 2017, 09:40 AM |

Just to share... Remote access, control & mirror of your box...
Screen shots from my phone...works over 4G. Very simple to set up Using Teamviewer's apps. You'll need to install the host app to the box, the remote control client app to the phone, and sign up for a free account, then set up the box ID to your phone. QUOTE(Khalid21 @ Feb 22 2017, 10:10 AM) not sure the problem lies with the controller or the box. after connected with my vr's game controller, I can only set it to mouse setting, where I move the joy stick to hover the mouse cursor around the screen. the gaming setting (using joy stick as directional) has no effect at all is this a firmware issue for minix? been having fun playing Dungeon Quest with my vr's controller on my phone, wish to play it on larger screen |

Besides, I'd rather opt for the full experience and get the Shield 2. As soon as I can convince myself to get a decent 4K TV. http://freaktab.com/forum/development-area...box-pro-h96-pro I didn't try...old android version...
