Just wondering..

those who bought 3rd party lightning cable with MFI certified (remax, pineng, etc),
do you ever encounter any problem after using them after 4 months or more?

based on my experience, any cable except original apple,
90% of them will suddenly out of nowhere stop working and will become totally dead.  bye.gif

Is this only happen to me or it does happen to all of you?  hmm.gif

Specs wise there is a improvement in processor speed. Like myself, I upgraded from ip6+ to ip7 and I can tell you there is alot of difference in term of speed and worth the extra $$$ to fork out for it.
I personally use cables from Anker & Aukey, especially those with braided and high capacity cables. I have forsaken other brands as they are more sensitive and are not that lasting. Original cables are good but they tend to split at fittings, but not these braided cables by Anker. In fact they charge your phone faster too with the right charger. I myself use the 12Watt Ipad charger + Anker Nylon braided cables to charge iPhone.

Length is preference to own requirement. I myself use a 0.9m (3 ft) which is sufficient for me and also for the car. I have had longer cables before this but the longer it is the easier for it to get tangled/damage etc. Those braided one fare better. Just do note that for these high performance cables, the longer it is, the more expensive it gets as the wires that are used for longer cables are heftier than the standard shorter ones, to compensate for the voltage drop end to end.

Guys is iPhone 6s and 7 processor a huge upgrade?

I am currently using a iphone5 and it have become very slow at times and I am planing to upgrade.

Is the iPhone 6s processor just have a few year lifespan till it become a slowpoke like my iPhone 5 or Should I just add the rm500 different and get a iPhone 7?

Day to day use, i doubt you'll see much performance differences between 6s and 7.

I think if you wana compare, you'll have to consider the incremental stuff like the camera enhancements, water proofings are justifiable for the additional costs.

Nope. I got this Moshi branded MFI certified cable. Been using it since 6 plus model.

Not just on pricing, but MFI certified doesn't mean much, it's just using Apple approved manufacturer of the lighting adaptor specifications. Quality isn't part of the equation.

Apple original cable, while it works for me, typically the joints will break, the "skin" layer tends to wear and tear, or it turns yellowish. Not ideal for outdoor usage or throwing it in your bag situation.

Any idea which shop does provide discount for ip7+ accessories? (Rhinoshield SP, Case)

Last time my sister bought ipSE from iswitch. They do have a lot of discount for its case and SP.

And any idea where can get cheaper price ip7+ 128 GB? Gemfive just finished with its matte black stock

Just got my IP7+ for 10 days. As an ex Android user, here are some observations I made during this short period.
1. The phone is really smooth even I did not clear almost 20 apps running in
background. However I still can't shrug off old habit of clearing background apps
from time to time.
2. iTunes syncing is not as bad as what I read online. I was surprised to learn you
can move out files from iPhone without iTunes when using Window 10 PC.
3. Still automatically look for "Back" button. Some apps either don't have it or I
am simply clueless. In the end, I had to press home button.
4. The notification was weird initially but eventually get used to it.
5. Night mode is better than what Android apps tried to do.
6. iBooks selection is quite disappointingly little. I can use Google Play Books to read
those I bought in Google devices as iOS version doesn't have purchase option.
7. So far only experience one crash when I was in poor signal area and accidentally
open an app that require connection.

So far I am satisfied with the phone, looking forward to iOS 11(yeah, no need to wait a long time for an OS update that never arrive). I think it's worth it if you can get the iPhones in promotion.
